A 20 goal a season striker who we cant find the key to.
A striker who needs to leave to resurect his career.
A winger with pace and no tricks.

Do you see us signing better than our starting 11 players?
I don't.
Jack Clarke mooted at £25m which is far too much. I think I’ve read Spurs get 40% of any sale! Wow! But Sunderland only paid £5m for him so I guess Spurs want their £10m back.
He would be the one I’d go after - £15m plus add ons might get him. Then go get a decent striker. Move Aaronson to number 10. If we must then let Willy go. I’ve not been that impressed with him so far. £25 for him and I would snap their hands off. Only if we get Vkatke though - or Rowe.
Wouldn't be surprised if we don't sign anyone in this window, certainly not for a sizeable fee.
Stinks to me of making the club as cash rich as possible before a RB takeover.
Wouldnt be surprised to see us get a better than normal loan signing from the PL in as we can now offer them game time which is often the sticking point and could get Anthony back to replace himself.
We need a left back (Someone to push Firpo, keep Byram as RB cover),
a CM (we only have 3 you need 4 in a long season),
A winger (again need 4 to cover injuries)
An attacking midfielder (Piroe not a 10)
Thats at least 4 off the top of my head, maybe another winger as Im not sure if Aronsson really is a 10
Wober could leave so we may need another CB as well, we have Debayo but unproven at this level and again you need 4 really so there is cover for each postion.
Just hope Gnonto stays!
So to clarify I think a CM is needed to partner Amapdu as him Gruev are too defensive together.
An attacking midfielder number 10 who will start.
A winger who needs to be pushing for a start - James and Gnonto wont last the full season without getting injured then who plays there?
Then a LB who can push Firpo for a 1st team place.
Id say we need at least 4 major signings and maybe another back up type signing as well
For a start we need 4 in to replace Cree, Archie, Kamara, and Rutter. We could find better than GK.
The rest, not a chance. But we can find 4 players
who could be adequate Championship bodies.
Then we need Left Back cover. Box to Box mid,
and possibly a CB. Two CBs if Wober leaves.
These 3 or 4 replacements Farke identified.
I'd add a goal scoring striker also. Doesn't have
to be a star. Just solid at this level. The bar is
very low in this area in the four we already have
in the squad. So should be relatively essy for
anyone half decent at recruitment.
Tick tock.
We know one thing: last season's squad was too small
and injury prone. It's weaker this season by a mile.
We have some good players who we won't get better than at this level, about 3 of them in the squad, so yeah, id expect a lot more to be done until the window shuts. Bamford will come on last 20 mins against Sheff Wed, are you telling me there's not a better striker available anywhere in Europe better than him?
No more excuses, time to start acting like the big fish in this pond. We're the bookies favs ffs

Hard to argue with this on the current evidence. It looks as though the 49’ers looked to get promotion last season. Once that failed, they decided to sell up and sell out this season. My guess is that with player sales and parachute payments, they are close to break-even on their investment. Whatever they sell the club for will mostly line their pockets. I am sure that the amortised payments due to us can be sold on to the next owners. The 49’ers seem like a twenty-first century variation of our previous custodians, with better suits and brighter smiles.
PS, ADRTK and Jonty, please tell me I’m wrong.
Norwich 21 year old winger Abu Kamara handed in a transfer request. Was at Pompey on loan and played a big part in there promotion. We'll be linked to him within the next few hours 😉
The 49ers sell up to RB is not far fetched.
With anything that requires PR to overcome hostility
towards an entity, you first need to soften the oppositions stance or negative feelings toward you.
RB are not liked. Nor is their mode of operation when
it comes to football club takeovers. How could you soften that? Start by sponsoring a team and have
your logo on the shirt and in and around the club for
a season or so. Have that logo on a sweet looking yellow kit, that fans have begged for for years.
It'd be helped if the current owners are seen as
asset strippers, messing the club up. Fans need
a new saviour.
Fast forward to a potential sale to RB, and quite a few
may well have the belief that "fck it, they've been here
a year already, how much worse can it get?"

I hope this isn't the case and if we bring in Jack Clarke that will certainly dismiss this thought but if the Jack Clarke story is just a distraction designed to keep us hopeful and fizzles out then the more you think about it the more this explains the current silence, the very unusual lack of replacements before star players are sold to enable the club not to be held to ransom on the transfer fee but certainly now all the millions in income is common knowledge we can now be held to ransom and no doubt this excuse will be rolled out on Sept 1st for frustratingly missing out on all our targets.
If the owners have decided to cash in their chips for themselves and their investors then I doubt anymore money is coughed up in transfer fees and the best we will get is the maximum allowed in EPL loans and also a
transfer day deadline exit of Gnonto thrown in for good measure.
With the fans in uproar The Waste Of Timers will announce that Red Bull is taking the reigns, full ownership, old owners never to be seen again and if Angus Kinnear has any sense he will scarper too.
Oh to support a club without such duplicity, drama and dodgy untrustworthy owners...hense why I've already posted that when we do become RB Leeds United, and it could be sooner than I thought, we will finally have competent, deliver what they promise owners.
So if all a few of us suspect is playing out then maybe promotion this season is a big ask unless the January window is like no January window we've ever seen before but if we do miss out again this season Red Bull
will not mess around and certainly next season the new owners will ensure everything is in great shape on and off the field to get back to the EPL in some style.
It is all getting rather exasperating. 3 games in on Friday (4 if you include the debacle against Boro). It won’t be the same next season (this season) we hear,, but I am not confident that we will bring in the players we need with sufficient quality. It’s an absolute mess!

It's all very Leeds to be getting excited about signing a player for 25m whom we sold for 10m and said wasnt all that when we sold (I personally thought he was a match winner, but many didn't).
If we signed Clarke whom would he start ahead of, James or Gnonto?
I'm now not expecting us to get Jack Clarke, will be quite shocked if we do tbh, and the only half decent winger we are realistically going to get because he is a lot cheaper than Clarke is Benson from Burnley so I'd actually take that and combined with a probable loan for Anthony

So our completed squad by the time the transfer window shuts will have an attacking first team 4 players of Joseph, James, Benson and Aeronson with Piroe,Anthony,Bamford and possibly Gelhardt if he
doesn't get a move so one of our young undef 18 yr olds
which was going to be Gray but with him out it will be
Chambers who warms the bench.
Midfield will be Ampedu,Gruev,Rothwell, Crew and a new
EPL loan midfielder who I've no idea who that will be.
Defence will be a New EPL defender hopefully a left
back plus Rodon, Struiyk, Wober if he stays, Firpo,Bogle
and Byram plus our U18 cb Debayo.
So I think with our 3 goalies that will give us a squad of 24 players so we shall see if this comes to pass.
I don't think Piroe has a "sweet spot" personally.
Loses possession most of the time. Has little end-product in terms of setting-up teammates.
Scored some last season, but we were dominant in so many games that he had to I suppose. I can't remember many individual efforts on his part.

And Norwich brought in a player immediately after. 8.5 mil for someone from a team I've never heard of.
Keep seeing we’re interested in bringing Jack Clarke back, but Sunderland want 25m!!!
Is this what’s it come to now, buying players like Raphiniha for 18m and now after selling everything we’re looking at a championship player for 25m, who we already sold for 10m. Only Leeds
We should be getting seasoned internationals for 25m

Keep seeing we’re interested in bringing Jack Clarke back, but Sunderland want 25m!!!
Is this what’s it come to now, buying players like Raphiniha for 18m and now after selling everything we’re looking at a championship player for 25m, who we already sold for 10m. Only Leeds
We should be getting seasoned internationals for 25m
