Forget where you stand on the Solomon deal, I personally don't like it on the basis that it is divisive and liable to drive wedges between groups of supporters, as seen on here.

Put that to one side, having spent some time thinking about it over the summer, I certainly do no want a man at my club who has been found guilty of hitting someone over the head with a rock, eventually, Chair will need to answer for his actions, as far as I am aware he hasn't admitted any culpability to date. I hope the club are not considering putting a bid in for him.

Why are we pi55ing about over 2m - get it done with or is it another case of 49ers saying to fans “we tried”. Billing would be a top sign at this level.

Also rumours of Bamford going to Hull - batty will celebrate Christmas on Friday if that happens

Hamer and Billing would be incredible but both seem very unlikely at the moment.

I have to say for all the panic about us losing players and Burnley running away with it, they look to be completed screwed at the moment.

Or are you just being overly picky, of course Matty knows Farke uses Sam primarily as a RB, he just meant he used him as LB as his secondary position to cover injury, suspensions, etc.

A lot of apparant legit Social media posts saying Solomon deal will be confirmed Tuesday so it looks like it's done so hopefully he can stay injury free plus Billings from Bournmouth appears very close to being announced too.

He may have played him at left back but its not his best position. Prefer him at RB, more natural. Would rather have a proper left back hence my post.

Hes played RB and LB for us by the way (Byram). I think thats what Light was saying. He played RB recently against Middlesbrough for a start.

Billing would be terrific. Ticks a lot of boxes. Shouldn't be a hard sell given he's going from a Skoda to an Aston Martin. Going to be a hectic final 4 days.

I think if we do sign Billing, Piroe must be favourite to leave before Friday as I can't see PB going although I hope it doesn't mean Gnonto might sadly be leaving instead.

I assumed it referred to Farke saying we needed a left back a while back especially as Firpo is in the final year of his contract. I thought you were talking about Aarons being another right footed back who can play on the left but like Sam has to cut back inside when attacking.
Aarons, Byram and Bogle are all right footed with Firpo being the only left footed full back at the club so if he is out we don't have the same flow going forward.
