how is this asking for attention? We know the refs are watching us very closely and are quick to book us. So let's stop giving them that opportunity.

Why are we watched more closer than other teams?
If there really was an agenda against us then the players need to wise up and stop giving the ref the opportunity.
As soon as Trossard kicked the ball away I knew he was off
To be fair, this works for you. The low block when leading, going down, keeper dropping on the ball when catching it, kicking the ball away and various other dark arts. Problem is there's a clamp down on this behaviour this season which Arsenal are suffering from.
Arteta has you playing with a a lot of similarities to Atletico Madrid. Although to be fair, there are not many, if any, teams who could have got a draw against City when down to ten. Without these tactics you likely wouldn't have either.

Rice brushes away a moving ball that comes up behind him
And Trossard kicks it a second after the whistle
If that's the rule it's a shiiiite one first of all but then it needs to be applied in all instances not just when we're on a yellow

They may very well be clamping down on it but they are not treating everyone the same. I believe recently one of your own players Szoboszlai who was on a yellow card kicked the ball away no second yellow. Doku yesterday kicks the ball away no card. The game against Brighton before Rice gets a second yellow Pedro kicks the ball away thirty yards up the field no card. I want Arsenal players to be smart but there is a double standard going on here.

The thing is if it was the other way round there is no way a City player is getting sent off for that. The refs are literally itching to send our players off.
It's the letter of the law that is heavily applied to us whereas other instances seem to get a bit more of a subjective response

No they aren't. You commit yellow card offences thenyou get yellow cards.
As a team, you have to take responsibility for your antics. Arteta has clearly brought that into your game more and as a result you have to accept the issues that comes with. That said, it has its positives too in breaking play up and disrupting etc which will benefit too. But it has its risks.
Watching my sons u13 game this weekend, the opposition coach was repeatedly moaning at the 14 year old ref, the opposition parents were similarly moaning at the ref and shouting the odds and guess what, the opposition kids repeated the same behaviour they saw from the grown ups/leaders/mentors/parents and were also a moaning argumentative bunch. It reminds me of watching Arsenal, with Arteta jumping around on the sidelines, contesting every decision, watching his players follow suit and hearing their fans moan about everything they think is going against them . It's very easy to take a natural dislike to these teams/people.
As much as a ref wants to be totally impartial, it is human nature that they will probably lean in favour of the team that isn't acting like annoying spoilt kids. The benefit of the doubt may be given, a bit of leniency rather than strictly applying the letter of the law.
Both the 2nd yellows have been harsh punishments but both have been earned.
Arteta is a smart manager who seems to leave no stone unturned in his quest for improvement. However I think he has a blind spot here and if he had an approach of more of a charm offensive than just moaning then that subconscious bias a ref may have may fall more on his side. They may get the benefit of the doubt a bit more. I think Klopps Liverpool suffered a lot in the same way. Constant barrating of officials did his team few favours IMO.
Arsenal and Arteta need to wise up rather than moaning. Constantly blaming others means you do not tend to reflect on your own behaviour.

Except it's City who are mainly crying about the ref
When you spend most of the match pushing the boundaries of the rules, don't expect any sympathy for being punished when you get on the wrong side of the rules.
It's very rare Arsenal drop points and point the finger at themselves. It's always the ref/officials.
I guess alot of teams are like that to be fair, it isn't just Arsenal. But this "the refs have an agenda against us" is honestly childish, from any set of fans.
And I agree RE above, it filters down to grassroots football. I coach an under 12s side and some of the behavior towards refs is unacceptable, learnt from the very top. It has to stop.

So its not just Arsenal.
Refereeing in this league is abysmal, ive watched 3 european games this season and all 3 have been a breath of fresh air when it comes to officiating. Only notice the refs cause theyre barely noticeable and im so used to noticing them in the prem. and as im paying attention to that im appreciating how good they are compared and feeling depressed we have to put up with pgmols shocking standards.

There might be a grey area where so decisions are subjective. What we are talking about is very definitive if you kick the ball away then it's a yellow card. It's clear for all to see that law is not being applied consistently. Arsenal players need to wise up but the rule should be applied to everyone and seems like some are getting away with it.

Arsenal were playing the "dark arts" in the 2nd half big time. It was embarrasing at times.
And Raya isn't the only one to do this (every keeper does). But this thing where they catch a simple ball and the drop to the floor for 10 seconds has to stop.
