Anyone Still Pretending Poch Wasn’t Sh*t

Just seen Devon describe Spyrs as making ‘huge progress’ under Poch.

Harry Redknapp league finishes 4th, 3rd, 4th.

Poch 3rd, 2nd, 3rd

Huge

We won 2-0 anyway with 65% possession. Easy.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Funnily enough, we also had 65% possession in the schooling we gave you last season at our gaff.

Before you get all salty, it’s not our fault that Diaz convinced the linesman he was offside, that VAR forgot how to apply the rules, that you lot kept giving the ref no choice but to red card you and Matip forgot which way you were shooting that half.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

You were clueless against nine men.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
No mate, we schooled Klopp in his final season

Liverpool got all aggressive and got themselves down to 9 men and then capitulated in the final minute when the pressure was really on. Go back and watch the game if you don’t believe me

Throwing names is often a sign of defeat, like when Klopps boys got all aggressive at our patch and resorted to thuggery to try to win.

We showed last night how to manage a game when you have dismissals
----------------------------------------------------------------------
If you want thuggery, I'll refer you to the Battle of the Bridge.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
exactly, I know what thuggery looks like because of that game and I saw it last season with Liverpool - couldn’t beat us fairly so resorted to kicking our players. Fortunately I think a Liverpool player accidentally caught Matip in the head and he temporarily forgot where he was and scored an absolute screamer for us - best goal of his career at least

I'm probably be being very generous here, but may be Arne Slot.

But as he hasnt won anything in any of the top 4 leagues, i guess that makes him massively overrated and a loser #hoodyssimplelens

It makes the point.

I'm sure LFC appointed Slot because he's a fantastic manager, unfortunately his achievements do not fall in to Hoody's niche definition.

So id imagine he was pretty upset when LFC appointed a less than fantastic manager.

Ive genuinely have not seen a single person describe Slot as a fantastic manager, he gas everything to prove snd he can’t physically have won a trophy yet, so it’s quite interesting to see you pick me up on ‘world class’ earlier.

If we’re honest it’s a weak and desperate analogy.

Brentford's manager is also fantastic. He has taken a small club with a stadium smaller than Spurs main stand and without hardly any dramas established them as a decent, stable premier league club who play good football and are a challenge to most opposition.

Ruben Amorim, also a fantastic manager. Ended Sportings near 20 year drought for the Premeira Liga title. Plays really attractive attacking football. Another we were linked with and I would have been happy. We played them in the UCL, and they were very decent. Beat us at theirs.

Jurys out on Ange - were great to watch but the start to this season has been incredibly frustrating. We should have won handsomely at Leicester and beaten Newcastle but ended up with a single point. We then got done on a corner as usual against the Gooners.

3 wins on the bounce since though and we seem to be a bit more clinical

Give it a few more months before we know

To view Pochettino in this bad a light you have to just erase the 22-23 season.

When you take over a club that's struggling to beat the league's top scorer as a team, has about 20,000 players & a divided consortium who don't know what they want (yet are changing everything), you deserve credit for any little thing you do to help this situation.

Before Pochettino watching us attack was like seeing a baby trying to bite granite. All the possession in the world yet had no effect on anything, opposition only needed to keep shape & we were helpless. Coming out of Pochettino & we have some teeth again, not razer sharp but at least the f*ckers are there

I doubt he'd of wound up being the ultimate answer in this galaxy brain project of ours, but I'm happy he was here & satisfied with the work he did.

Don't pay attention to the negativity on our board.

We beat a team 3-0 with 10 men because we continued to attack them and fans are moaning that we conceded chances.
