Lucky for us we do so much better in the second ... oh wait a minute.

We’re going to need to change something at the back after the international break. This is starting to look like a crisis now.

Absolute comedy defending again.

We have conceded 20 goals in 6.5 matches. Sh!te.

At that rate we are on to concede 117, yes 117 goals this season

4 more friggin' goals conceded in a system that just isn't working. You're right Wulfrunnut 20 goals is outrageous and who knows how many more in the second half.

I've heard it many times on here "let's see where we are after 10 games". Well, this is now 7 games and with Man City, Brighton and our worst bogey team, Palace in the next 3 doesn't bode well.

If we're still bottom with 1 point GON has to go. Sorry lads, but the system he's adopted just isn't working. We have to go back to 3 at the back.

Has a team ever conceded more goals than Man Cheaty have scored in a league campaign?

Sheffield U came close last season didn't they?

Wonder if the general census of opinion remains that Dawson is an “excellent Premier League centre back”?

He really isn’t.

Well on course to better that now though

But for some good keeper saves, some poor finishing and Brentford taking their feet off the gas ma quite reasonable expectation for the game was 13-4.

The excuse of top quality opposition has been soundly thrown out of the window. I was looking at this game to make a balanced opinion of how good we really are. And my submission is - P!SS POOR.

Score three away from home and still get battered. Blindingly obvious where the problem lies. Back 4 did for Nuno and Lage, Lopetegui made it work, looks increasingly as if O'Neil will stand or fall on this decision.

For the first time this season I am prepared to say that GON probably won't be in a job at Christmas.

At least we still haven’t played a team in the bottom half of the table.

Every cloud…..

Actually Brentford were in the bottom half, they're not now.

Of course, DJ will be along to tell us that the reason Brentford have moved into the top half has nothing to do with beating us!

Just don't understand his decision making this season, everyone can see the defense is a mess and his insistence on taking off our best player and replacing him with Hwang, who clearly is still dreaming of Marseille, is just bizarre.

posted on 5/10/24

Guedes came on and did a bit, Bellegarde had a few positive touches. Did Hwang do anything at all?

He said a month ago the system didn’t suit the players, yet he has carried on playing it regardless.

Is he making a point to the owners for failing to replace Kilman and weakening the starting eleven again?

Does he want the sack? No doubt in my mind the club have let him down badly in the transfer market.

Just walking back from an afternoon stroll on the Chase (interrupted by goal alerts) and a group of young lads on bikes and scooters went past us including a chubby little chap in a weekend offender t shirt

Had a job explaining my mirth to the Mrs.

By the time we kick off against Palace on November 2nd it is very likely we will have 1 point from 27, and will have conceded very close to 30 goals.

If we don't get 6 points from the Palace and Southampton home games I think GON will be GONE.

Has crossed my mind, weak management if so but would explain some of the decisions.

Haaland will be licking his lips in anticipation of running riot at Molineux?

Surely he has to change to 3 CB’s even if it’s just for this match?

My worry is who do we bring in if we press the panic button once again?
