Talk of Amorim coming in and managing the game against Chelsea. Seems a bit too soon surely even IF he signs in the next day or two?

At best he'd be looking at one training session and then setting himself up for a fail putting out a side against a Chelsea side who are playing well.

He'd be better off letting Ruud take the weekend game and just watch from the sideline... if only to get a good idea of just how mediocre, in terms of ability and/or attitude, some of our squad are.

Yeh definitely, but you can imagine the ABU pundits if we get beat. The narrative will be his style of football already looks suspect for the PL. Then every game after will carry on like that.

The only player I can think of he improved was Fred. And we sold him at the end of the season instead of McTominay.

We can and should aim higher than Dalot. He's decent but doesn’t meet the level we should be striving for.

I think you could argue Maguire has been better under ETH than he was Ole.

He also did a decent job with bringing the youngsters on/through.

All of Mainoo, Garnacho and Amad look like players.

I wonder if he’s gonna keep any of Ten Hag’s back room staff

From one angle, he resembles Drake; from another, a wealthy Arab, truly a man of many faces. Hopefully, he's talented enough to stabilise the club and bring success.

Ten Hag deserves credit for bringing through academy players. But he didn't improve them, not one.

That was true of Solksjaer as well.

No it doesn't but you can't change the past now. Should have gone in the summer at the very latest but he didn't so we just have to move on now
