This could be very close to the make or break time for GON. It will be the 10th league game of the season and we're out of the League Cup. In our last 19 league games, we've managed one win (2-1 home win against Luton). That, in my book, is not acceptable.
We have quality players who don't deserve to be in a dire relegation spot and that must reflect on the manager. The pressure will be on both the players and GON to deliver a result against a team that we have struggled to beat in recent times.

Think a defeat here would spell the end for GON. The atmosphere presumably would be pretty hostile if we lost as well.
A draw seems likely but hopefully Palace are far less threatening without Eze.
No doubt it will be a back four but will GON get the midfield balance right.

Fear the worst here. Defensively we're a shambles still.
Non of our three CB's should be anywhere near a Prem first eleven.
I think it will turn toxic, but I suspect that Fosun will be in the firing line not GON.
Fosun Out!

Well I'm feeling more optimistic so I'll go for a 2-1.
I'm hopeful that GON will get it right, otherwise GON will be GONE.
5 stars For Goldie, found the time even though he is away.

This comes on the back of two encouraging performances where we were unlucky to lose to City then did great to rescue a point at Brighton. But honourable performances against decent teams doesn’t necessarily turn into wins against lesser teams.
I hope Sa retains his place in goal. Santi Bueno has done well in recent games and deserves to keep his place alongside Dawson. Toti will either lose his place or move over to left back with Ait Nouri playing further forward, which I would like to see.
Gomes and Doyle look likely to be in midfield, maybe Andre as well. Lemina has been nursing an injury so might drop out for this one. Up front Larsen and Cunha pick themselves, and if we just go for two in central midfield then Sarabia might get a chance

Although we were evidently “unlucky” to lose to Man Cheaty, we had 22% possession and four touches in their penalty area as opposed to 85 for them.
They had 22 shots at goal and 18 corners!
Let’s hope our bad luck continues

Would like to see Toti at LB and RAN pushed forward personally.

In his press conference today GON confirmed that Sa and Johnstone are both fit to play so he has a choice to make. Lemina has only trained for two days this week so a decision will be made on his fitness tomorrow. He specifically mentioned Ait Nouri who could play on the left of defence or ahead of Toti.
He describes Palace as a difficult team to break down who tend not to spend much time playing out from the back but instead get the ball forward quickly.

Palace have confirmed that Eze and Wharton will miss tomorrow’s game at Molineux. In fact both are likely to be out for a month.

I've lost count of the times has come on here and stated, this or that opposition player will be out. Yet still, we've only managed one win in 19 league matches.

"We are just going to attack it full throttle. It won't always look pretty because of the style of the team we're playing against”
GON explaining how the defensive, low block approach of Man City and Brighton have taken the edge off our recent flamboyant performances.

Certainly good news for us and GON. Now we have to capitalise.

That is good news but they still have Nketiah and Mateta who on their day can hurt anyone.
Just watched the Albion against Luton game in a bar near our hotel, I think the proprietor was grateful of the unexpected custom but equally perplexed at our interest, only us watching that and 4 Germans taking a passing inquest in a 0-0 between Leverkusen and Stuttgart. An Indian family came in and took the rest of the tables (with said proprietor's blessing) for a Divali celebration. Cracking way to spend your last night away 🤣

4 draws in succession for Albion who have slipped away a bit from their good early position. Luton though are really struggling and Rob Edwards could be in trouble after making a decent fight of things in the Premier League

Nuno’s Forest currently up to fourth, which suggests the level we are currently playing at is Champions League.

Very disorganized and a scrappy game. Surprised there weren't boos ay HT. It's 3-5-2 and Larsen is not in the game again. I'd like to see Guedes get more time up front. 3 points is a must for GON.

It is a very fluid set up altogether and I am not sure it is working overall. Strand Larsen a passenger so far. RAN all over the pitch, seems to have been given the freedom to do so. Cunha good and bad. Sarabia, meh, not a good one today so far.
Pretty even though, if only we could defend any ball into the box we wouldn't look half as fragile.
