Genocide Joe and Kamala were given countless endorsements by Hollywood virtue signallers telling us all how he was going to change how America are looked at by the rest of the world for the better and then proceeded to indirectly drop the equivalent of 3 Hiroshima bombs on a defenceless dot on the map so losing an election over that is very much karma.

I'll answer the original question.... as a moderate, liberal thinking republican who voted.... The democrats gave people no choice. It was the worst run campaign in the history of politics. It started with Biden's joke campaign, the rushed promotion of Kamala (who was in no way qualified) and not supported by her own party. The arrogance & moral superiority of the Dems drove people to Trump. You may not like his politics (thats OK, Its a free world) but gas prices, groceries, Jobs, Inflation, immigration & crime are things that matter to people. Trump was clear about how he wants to deal with it (who knows whether he will or not) but the outcome has been obvious since the summer (Despite the sugar rush bounce Kamala got when she announced she was running). I can assure you it has nothing to with s8x or race... the numbers and voting trends prove it.
If you don't like it, that's cool, you don't live here. Given last week's Budget you guys have enough to worry about over there.
Onwards & upwards
----------------------------------------------------------------------
You voted for a N@zi, so your explanations and excuses are f*cking worthless.
You’ll never comment on any of my articles again.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I didn't say who I voted for. Personally, I'm not a fan of Trump.... I was just trying to explain why she lost. I live in a Blue state (always will be). People like me are not the reason why he won. You need to understand the infrastructure & dynamics of the US political system to see why the outcome was like this.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
False promises of jam tomorrow and racist gaslighting is the reason Trump gets elected. His proposed tariffs won't make the average working Joe richer.
The other candidate isn't a racist, misogynist, sexoffender with a litany of lies that have become normalised to the point of being shrugged off. Sorry of you see this as 'moral superiority' (it is) or 'arrogance' (it isn't).
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Just trying to explain why she lost...
----------------------------------------------------------------------
She lost because the average American is as thick as mince. Harris and the Democrats may not have ran a perfect campaign, but come on Trump has so much baggage, he should have been wiped out by any half intelligent electorate.
posted 10 hours, 16 minutes ago
I don’t think she was as accessible to the public, Trump did podcasts, interviews, had sound bites and his policies were pretty clear.
I don’t feel I got that from Kamala, she mumbled her way through many questions without giving any clarity to the questions she was asked. She didn’t do many public interviews (SNL, think I may have seen her in Oprah?).
I don’t her being a woman had anything to do with it, early indications are that the Hispanic and, funnily enough, female voters were what swung it for trump.
I don’t think it spells good news for the UK, Starmer needs to get in line now and apologise for the team sent to the US in support of the Democrats, not sure what he was thinking.

It’s been a pretty disastrous office for the democrats don’t forget. Inflation and interest rate spiralled, inability to control geopolitical tensions, immigration off the charts, many people left far left states to traditional republican states.
The fact is, like the UK, people probably didn’t vote for the eventual winner, they voted for change because they are sick of diminishing living conditions.
