Portugal’s squad is as good as theirs. I’m sure you’ve also heard of a certain Bernardo Silva. I never said he’s a legend, I’m pointing out the flaws in your poor arguments about his level as a player.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Bernado Silva? That’s it? Portugal is not a team filled with World Class players. End of. There is no way that team is as good as France or Spain. There’s a reason those two countries have been more successful recently
----------------------------------------------------------------------
How about Ballon d’Or nominees Rafael Leão, Vitinha and Ruben Dias?

How about Lev Yashin trophy shortlisted Diogo Costa?

Or World Young Player nominated Antonio Silva and Joao Neves?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I’ll give you Ruben Dias - but you can fack off with world young player of the year.

How about the likes of Mbappe, Griezman, Kante etc. Portugal don’t stack up against France
----------------------------------------------------------------------
You asked what “top players” Portugal have, and we’ve just pointed out between us (beyond Bruno and Ronaldo) four recent Ballon d’Or nominees, two WPOTY nominees and a Lev Yashin nominee.

And that’s before we get to the likes of Felix, Neto, Jota, Cancelo, Palhinha, Nuno Mendes and Raphael Guerreiro.

Owen Hargreaves is a type of player we need.👍 He was rapid as well. I still don’t get why he went to Man City.😂

You are aware the greatest manager to ever live also argued that he has tier system when it comes to world class. I suppose he is a fool too and you are more qualified than him. Youtube is your friend where he names only 7 players he considers "world class"

Lol... Since whem has the qualifications of been there, done that experiencue been a factor in one's percieved football knowledge? Many fans who have had zero experience of playing the game at any half-decent, organised level, and even dont watch many games, still think that their football.opinion is more valid than some ex professional, elite and international players who become commentators, journalists and punters.

We have a good few on here who make Crooks look like the Carl Sagan of football.

Tbh does playing the game make you more knowledgeable than someone who watches and analyses?
I've been playing football for 30 years, some of that at semi pro level, and some of my opinions on football are terrible
Most the bad ones are driven by emotion, to be fair.

We're not talking about world class, the thread is about whether Bruno's a club legend.

It's subjective and perfectly ok some will say he is, others say he isn't, that's football. Personally I don't think he is.

But to suggest there are tiers is farcical. And if you have to invent them to shoehorn a player in then it's probably best to say the player isn't.
