Can't see us winning this one after last game debacle.
Maybe we can snatch a point.

3-1 to the Hammers.

Great post Goldie, sums it up.

El Sackico is the name given to this game as the first and second favourites for the sack in the Premier League meet in opposition. Both teams have conceded 8 goals in their last two games so the match looks like being decided by which defence plays the least worst.

Difficult to know what we can do to improve for this game. Maybe a change of keeper will happen. Santiago Bueno will surely return to the defence. Semedo will be back from suspension. Will Lemina go into midfield instead of Andre or alongside him and Joao, or not play at all.

Who knows, but just hope GON leaves us with three more points on his way out.

Seems only a few short months ago when our collapse in form was attributed by some to being down to having no fit strikers?

Well, we’ve got several now and there has been no improvement whatsoever. Indeed, we have significantly weakened the starting eleven since we ran out steam in March.

Got to feel some sympathy for the likes of Joao Gomes and Cunha, what a shat show they’ve lumped themselves with.

Rumours that several West Ham players have fell out with Lopetegui and some have refused to train. Not sure all of it is true, but there must be some truth in some of the rumours.

Seems like it's a trend with Lopetegui. After his falling out with Moutinho (one of the most professional characters we've had) and his treatment of Raul, he's now upsetting players at his new club.

Yeah Lopetegui is clearly a bit of an ass hole

Read something earlier about O'Neil, apparently he drinks 20 cups of tea a day. Probably explains his hyperactive over caffeinated demeanor. Need to be careful there though Gaz as yours truly has recently discovered too much caffeine is not good for your blood pressure

I forget how much Brits smash back tea until I come visit. My bro is all over it every 40-50 mins or so. I probably have just one a day now, though just poured a second this morning.

Too much info there.

Just heard that Michael Antonnio has been involved in a car crash. Mad weather today wonder if it was a factor.

Sat in your pants and on your second cup of tea of day…….

That’s the stuff worth emigrating for to be fair. 👍

posted 2 weeks, 1 day ago

Looks quite possible our game is pulled on Monday right now given the Antonio situation

West Ham have said he is in a stable condition.

No idea how he has survived that given the pictures circulating of the car.

Yeah, much better update that one. A lucky guy

Forest up to fifth.

Wonder if we could poach their manager?

posted 2 weeks, 1 day ago

Sounds an horrific accident. An accident involving just the one car. Emergency crews arrived on the scene at 1pm and he was freed from the car at 1:45. Best wishes to him.

Ferrari, speed, bad weather, sounds like driver error to me. Always drive according to the conditions. Hope he's ok, but that picture doesn't look good, all on the driver's side.

It is interesting that we have slowly regressed as we have slowly moved away from Mendes the last few years. Would take a Mendes bomb in a heart beat right now.

posted 2 weeks ago

No doubt in my mind that Mendes was using the relationship with the club and Fosun to his advantage. But that's natural, he's one of the most successful business men in world football, he would only engage if it were to his advantage. We got screwed over a few times but overall wolves benefited from the relationship too. And it's not like we were solely dependent on him for transfers at any point. The Fabio Silva deal casts a big shadow over it all and it shouldn't.

Agreed. Looks like he might be part of a flat back four in future.
