See above Mylo. I'm with you, I reckon that's a big factor. Truth is, especially now, it's going to be hard to separate those situational factors from the virus and the vaccine.

Agreed - I hope you are keeping well BLB

Peks, if it was you who had surgery, my apologies.

What I want to know is why it seems apparent to fellow posters on Good News that I have a cardiac issue, but my GP has suggested that the issue is not likely to be cardiac related but is likely on account of my "character" and being "highly strung".

If in doubt I'd probably lean toward trusting a fully qualified, experienced medical professional over some caants on a forum.

That's why I'm seeing a cardiologist.

I remember reading this theory early May 2020 and more evidence appears to be the case. A family friends 6 year old boy had organ failure due to Covid around October 2020 but thankfully he got rushed to hospital in time.

Similarly I’ve suddenly had heart issues that were seriously worrying me since start of September this year and I was quite ill in august. But I also had my second jab in July. What triggered my severe heart palpitation I don’t know what - I don’t think the ridiculous amount of beer the night before or 5 cups of coffee to get over the hangover helped mind.

The CDC estimated that every million second doses given to boys ages 12 to 17 might cause a maximum of 70 myocarditis cases but would prevent 5,700 infections, 215 hospitalizations, and 2 deaths. In males aged 18-24 years, each million doses were projected to prevent 12,000 cases, 530 hospital admissions, 127 ICU admissions, and 3 deaths.12

Similarly, in males aged 24-29 years, a million vaccine doses were estimated to prevent 15,000 cases, 936 hospitalizations, 215 ICU admissions and 13 deaths. So even in these high-risk groups, the benefits of vaccination outweigh risks. If you consider females and males over the age of 29 years, the benefits outweigh risks by far.

SCIENCE

I only skimmed the article while sitting on the toilet, but the fact that a lot of the cases of myocardia arose from asymptomatic infections would go some way to closing the gap on any conspiracy theory that the vaccines are causing this issue.

Also, 5 cups of coffee?? I love a cup of Joe but FFS Edin.
