most of our midfielders are just short passers and carriers so for the sake of variety of profiles I would like another player with more long range passing potential

I think if we added a Maddison alternative then we’d be fine.

I’m really worried about madders because he looked poor the other day added on top to his end of season then it’s a big worry for me

that was his worst performance of pre season and it was when the team as a whole was struggling a lot I wouldn't worry about it, he's been good in the other games and looked pretty sharp in the last 3 games when he came back after being dropped imo

I think grey will be fine as a 6 as the years go on but he looked lost the other day.

Seems more comfortable facing play than playing on the turn

reminds me a lot of Rice, a box to box player who needs to be next to a jorginho type in a possession team

Don’t have a choice. Teams just need to pay up

Eze said then done. Doubt many clubs have £60m burning a hole in their pocket. Only a few clubs will. And Palace want it all up front. Not sure what the PSR rammifications are to the buying club when the trend is to spread the payments over the length of the contract.

I swear people used to think look like modric knew his stuff

He was very good for ITK stuff as he was connected with the club so gave good insider info (albeit not always up to date)
