Rosso, hypocrisy, in the context of capitalism, refers to grappling with your inner beliefs while still engaging with all the players within the system, one of which might be a despotic regime, highly resourced but with little regard for your ethical values.

I also agree that change is only possible through full engagement. However, the scale of change you seek can only be achieved at a political level. Without political will from our leaders, your intentions for change, though noble, are likely to remain futile.

FC Lausanne-Sport was bought by INEOS in 2017. They were relegated under them in their first season. And have yet to win anything. They've never maintained a title challenge in consecutive years.

Olympique Gymnaste Club de Nice was bought two years later. They only just managed to qualify for the champions league last year.

Unfortunately, Jim and co are half measures and don't sort the true problem at United. Owners, massive debt put onto the club, poor investment into the club, terrible organisation structure, and stagnation.
