Deservedly beaten but we were awful in ball retention and completely leaderless in the middle of the park.

McGowan truly awful today. Idah offered nothing. Kuhn been off the boil for some time and Schmeicel full of brain farts.

I’d be more looking towards the £11m man rather than a bargain basement signing from Dundee.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Think we forced a lot of those mistakes personally

We let your CBs have possession in your half, shut down a lot of the passing lanes very well, and pressed to try and win it back when it was recycled along you back line one or two times....most of your joy came from lumping it forward for Maeda to run onto or knock down

Leagues done, they can celebrate that all they want it makes no difference to the competition.

Defensivley we are poolg organised and our distribution is terriby. AJ was all over the place today, worst i have seen him
----------------------------------------------------------------------
BR’s overall record with us is phenomenal, but he couldn’t coach/organise a team to defend if his life depended on it. His teams simply aren’t great out of possession, end of. Was no different at Liverpool or Leicester. Yes, I know we were close to a domestic clean sheet record at home recently, but IMO that’s as much about the calibre of opposition more often than not.

Defending applies across the whole team BTW, and generally starting with a pretty powder puff front 6 absolutely contributes to our weakness out of possession (bar the one man tracking back machine that is Maeda). and certainly hampers us aerially at both ends of the park.

Pretty sure you defended for your lives away to Atalanta, and you were unlucky in Munich too, so your team can defend well when they want to

You were just $hite today

Wondered what the ruckus was behind our dugout, I’ve seen Cerny ran down squirting water over the fans. Ban incoming

I think it mattered more to rangers today, our dominance has produced some lethargic performances against rangers of late.

On the plus side it shows we need improvement. I love ccv but we need a leader at the back with him, he doesnt organise well

Ive been ok at mcgregor for pointing a lot, and i stand by that he could push forward a bit more, but look at the state of us today without him telling people what to do.

It was poor, really poor.

Do we need netting up behind the dug outs now, will that be the next yin?

Bang on mate. Cant handle a press.

----------------------------------------------------------------------
👍 Makes you wonder what they do in training. Need better defenders that’s for sure.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Well theres the issue, most of our games are against teams that dont press us and we walk away thinking we are prime barcelona.

Rangers and even mediocre european teams can press and we buckle.

Even when the rest of them press we go all the way back to kasper, its a riddy

Those games were very much the exception rather than the rule, Stevie. We also had Trusty available in those.

No arguments we were pash today though.

Can’t disagree with that.

Engels too far away to play a pivot though by fck what an engine and was still making runs at the end.

I know it’s not in our dna and we were under no pressure but at 2-2 I think both teams and fans would have taken it. If we decide we are going for it then fracking do so! How many times schlupp, mccowan, Hatate just passed it back rather than turn and run at them when dead on their feet from Thu.

On top, AJ decides to have a stinker. All 3 goals a series of calamities as per.

Hey ho.

posted 1 week, 5 days ago

My oh my. That was a wee surprise.

Dead on their feet Rangers beat Celtic on their own patch.

Lucky Rangers were wilting big time second half or that could have been even more embarrassing for Celtic 😳

Dont really want to get into it stevie but when such a big deal has been made about fan safety its pretty stupid.

It was fck aw and nothing was thrown thankfully

Aye-that was a bit p!sh.

Says a lot when Nawrocki looked like our best defender. Depth of squad shown up today as well.

A win is a win, and I imagine our bear chums are happy with it.

1 win on 4 against Rangers this season 0 wins I'm the last 3 over 90 mins 3 goals lost in each of the last 3 games against Rangers !!! This is not good enough if this Rangers team get the knack of beating the rest of the dross in this league we coukd be in trouble next season

posted 1 week, 5 days ago

Leaving Diomande to the side Raskin has been excellent in the last few celtic games and the other games in Europe and in the league.

I mind him getting laughed at and criticised by both set of fans on here.

That's kind of the point I've been trying to make

Would love to have your points tally and be so far in front...but if we have problems, I'd kinda rather it was figuring out how to beat dross consistently, rather than trying to figure out how to beat decent sides....and Celtic
