Lol you care so little you contributed to it on numerous occasions! Classic

As is said do you own research you lazy git.

Both papers published interviews given by the player. They were published interviews not reports.

Oh dear your really are naive aren't you.

There was one interview - it was reported by a number of newspapers and they each slanted it the way that they wanted to. The Chairman's statement was quite clear and it was made to tell clubs that Modric was not for sale, at any price.

Levy considered the derisory offer made for Modric and said it was unacceptable.

A bigger offer was made at the end of the window, Levy turned it down.

If the original offer had been for the final offer value Levy would probably have accepted it.

Modric is still at Spurs because your rich Russian tried to get Modric on the cheap.

He failed - live with it.

No, the only reason Modric is still with you is because you refused to sell

Funny thing is I remember 'Arry at the start of the indown going on about matchng Luka's ambition and persuading him to stay

This "ambition" stretched as far as a 40 year old keeper, the standout performer on relegated West Ham and a Man City reject

YES - WELL DONE, AS I SAID ABOVE

Funny thing is I remember 'Arry at the start of the indown going on about matchng Luka's ambition and persuading him to stay

I have to ask if any of the above was intended to make sense what, exactly is a indown?

Jurglen.......

First of all I didn't bring Modric up, I just responded to your absurd post inferring Modric didn't or doesn't want to leave Spurs and play for Chelsea.

Your assumption that we tried to get Modric on the cheap when we got Mata for 25m is equally absurd.

kindle, see I have no qualms with living with it! I'd liked Modric, I don't deny! He's a talent, whom in a much better team would have excelled! No wonder he wanted to join us!

But we have, moved on, I just think its sad it's the only weapon you can hit us with!
Coz you can't do it on the pitch, money or not, the reality of it is, the table (year in, year out l might add) does not lie!

Jurglen.........

Well your were saying there were no interviews so I am glad to see your myopic cloud lifting a little.

This interview below clearly says he wants to play for Chelsea.

Where does it "clearly say" he "wants to play for Chelsea"?

For everyone's benefit please identify the relevant paragraph by number, then the number of which line and then the number of the word (s).

I did have to chuckle at "“We are happy there. It is also near to Croatia, two hours on the plane so everything about London is great they are the only one who sent an offer and they are at the moment my first-choice.”

London is near Croatia

They are the only ones that sent an offer so are my first choice (well they would be if it were the only option).

My delay in responding was due to taking the trouble to read the link, hence me being able to ridicule it.

Jurgen, I don't see you coming back to ridicule the Telegraph interview...............I wonder why?

Modric quotes made after a bid for 22m had been made.........

“I would like to go to Chelsea. A lot of players would like to go there and play for Chelsea because it is one of the best clubs in the world, and so do I, I would like to play there. "

they [Chelsea] are the only one who sent an offer and they are at the moment my first-choice.”

I want to go in a good way, a friendly way so I can stay friends with them and not argue with them which will not be good for either of us.

Now stop being an absolute tool and move on as i said I could not give a monkeys about Modric. He is a super player, but not worth 40m, so I am pleased we missed out on him at that price and got Mata for 25m...

See above.

Just provide the requested information.

The paragraph, line and word number where he "clearly" says "I want to play for Chelsea".

It's quite simple - you provide the evidence to support your statement that Modric has said "I want to play for Chelsea" and I'll back down and admit I was wrong.

Paragraph
Line

Jurglenn - I admire your fight - it shows love for your club. But the fact is your owner and manager both did televised interviews. Harry thought Modric had had his head turned. Perhaps he did not mention Chelsea specifically, perhaps to avoid being sued.

I'm no mathematician, but I know 2 & 2 makes 4

Jurglenn wrote....

So we can conclude that the link doesn't anywhere include Modric saying he "wanted out" or "I want to play for Chelsea".

The quotes provided from the Telegraph interview clearly prove that your conclusion is wrong!

Sorry, but show some humility here and move on. If you can't, well I no longer care as I am out the door and off to my favourite restaurant for dinner. Good night.

So despite umpteen requests you are unable to verify your statement that Modric has been quoted as saying "I want to play for Chelsea" or even "I want out".

Unfortunately that makes your statement untrue - as such it means that you, like many journalists, are untrustworthy and as such anything you now write is open to question.

I asked you to provide verifiable and substantiated evidence. You failed to do so.

I asked you again and again you failed to do so.

One final chance - please provide evidence of where Modric is quoted as saying "I want to play for Chelsea".

Paragraph number, line number and word number - your failure to do so will leave no other option other to henceforth refer to you as a liar.

Congrats mate you've shown serious fight! There's obvious signs of Ostritch syndrome. You keep burying your head in that sand.

Could someone please provide the paragraph number, the line number and word number (in any published interview) where Modric is cited as saying "I want to play for Chelsea......or are all followers of Fulham's junior club untrustworthy liars?

Oh, the ostrich burying its head thing (no need for upper case) is an urban myth.

“I would like to go to Chelsea. A lot of players would like to go there and play for Chelsea because it is one of the best clubs in the world, and so do I, I would like to play there. But we will see what will happen.
“Chelsea are a great club, they play in the Champions League every year, they have great players, they are ambitious and have an ambitious owner who wants to invest in the club and make it win the Champions League, the Premier League and other titles. They are going in a great direction and everything about the club is very good.” - an exclusive interview with Torygraph Sport.
