Your comments won't be prevent Barca from signing Bale.

Barca have 7 midfielder's in their squad at the moment, it'll be 8 if you add on Thiago Alcantara.

Also, Pedro and Sanchez are both right footed; so they can't really be considered as left-wingers or left-forwards.

Iniesta is not in his 30's

Difference with Fabregas is that he's:

I was just countering the view that because Barca have players in a certain position they won't buy others.
They aren't exactly bothered about over compensating in attacking areas are they?

He is 27, my bad

Not getting any younger though...

Affellay hasn't exactly imposed himself in the team, and as i said Bale can also play LB...

Well judging by the way that Barca play they have right footed wingers on the left, and visa versa.

Messi, Villa, Sanchez, Afallay etc, when played on the wings always cut inside. They play football on the ground, hence short corners... They don't focus on crosses

I doubt they'll spend £45m+ to change their style of play just to accommodate Bale

Everytime i think about the Cesc saga, i feel sick to the stomach.

What an epic butt fecking we received! £35m for a world/euro champion, world-class midfielder?

Any other club, we would have told cesc to stop whinging, shut the feck up and honour his contract.

But NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!! Cesc feels it's his destiny to go back to Barca!! He has Barca DNA!! We're a meany old club holding cesc against his will.

Feck off.

Wenger should have held a press conference and publicly p!ssed on the Barca shirt, to make it plain and clear.

Top respect to Levi for standing up against "bigger" clubs and standing up for his club.

Bale is not a LB

Rose gets the LB position before Bale is even considered

posted on 15/11/11

The whole thing is totally irrelevant anyway

Bale has got nearly 4 years left on his contract and Levy wont sell him ......END OF

Anybody remember a certain chappie called Modric , remember what happened to him when you all said he was going to Chelsea ??????

Who does he play for now ??? , YOU DONT MESS WITH LEVY

Not at Spurs, now. But this is Barca we are talking about. They would probably play Bale at LB if they had him, though defending would be far from his main duty.

Did we not learn anything from the Modric saga?

I guess not...

We don't need to prove anything to you Arsenal fans. Difference is we keep our best players, Arsenal do not.

This is the only FACT right now...

Barcelona are reportedly looking at Bale because they are not sure if Abidal will sign a new contract. If Abidal signs a new contract they won't go after him till Abidal retires if anything, fact.

I can't see this having any legs tbh - for a start, as Doovde rightly said they couldn't afford Fabregas so where would they get the money for Bale?

Secondly, he's hardly a Barca style of player, where technique rules over physicality. The only way I can see him joining them is if they tap him up and wait for his contract to run down, then play him at left-back. By that time we'll be in the CL regularly beating Barca.

Apparently this guy is Barcelona's chief tactician. He's knows everything...

The use of the word "probably" was significant in my comment!!

They would never invest as much money on a English/Welsh player. Secondly, Barca's style is street football, they just play football without worrying.

If they did sign Bale, it would take him a while to grasp the style of play but would eventually get used to it.

As D'Jeezus said, Barca are in need of a LB seeing as Abidal is aged 32.

There's a few reasons to why Barca will be swooping the Welshmen in January or this upcoming summer.

Doovde

Im enjoying this guy making a fool out of himself

Knows everything?
No, just have watched Barca play, and their full backs tend to do a lot more attacking than defending.
Hardly takes a great tactician to see that.

£35m will never be enough to buy Bale. The only team stupid enough to sell their star player at cut-price is Arsenal
------------------
That's a bit harsh on Arsenal! We were totally and utter Barca'ed for 3 years with the player making sure that was his last season for the club and the only choice was him going to Barca no where else!!!

BTW Arsenal fans since we're talking old news .....

I know Cesc was your favourite son but did you feel disappointed that he's come out and told RVP to leave Arsenal NOW

posted on 15/11/11

I'd love to see how they'll be able to afford another £45m+ on another left sided winger (who will be playing LB apparently)

If anyone actually cares to read what Barcelona president Sandro Rosel has actually said, rather than some people sitting behind a computer screen....

I do not know if Bale interests us," Rosell told Al Jazeera.

"If I did, I would not say, because his price would go up. [Tottenham] would not ask for €40million [£33.2m], but €50m [£42.8m].

"In any case, even if we wanted him, we would never pay €40m for him."

They cant afford him, we have no intention of selling

Cesc never told RvP to leave.
He said that if RvP wanted another move it would have to be now, or he will need to spend the rest of his career at Arsenal.
In fact Cesc urges Robin to stay, as Cesc is an Arsenal fan.
