RDBD 's Pep!

I know Cesc was your favourite son but did you feel disappointed that he's come out and told RVP to leave Arsenal NOW
==============================

Those were typical skewed media quotes. He stated that IF RVP was to leave, then he will do it now or never.

In fact, the whole interview was praise for RVP and how he should stay with Arsenal.

Is that a bit rich coming from cesc? Yes. Should he concentrate on his "dream" club rather then state what other players should do? Yes. Are the media a bunch of manipulating ? HELL YES!!

Cesc never told RvP to leave.
He said that if RvP wanted another move it would have to be now, or he will need to spend the rest of his career at Arsenal.
In fact Cesc urges Robin to stay, as Cesc is an Arsenal fan.

....................

So the press misrepresented a story .....Just like the Bale one and virtually ever other thing they print

I never said Bale would join Barca, I never said there was truth in the OPs statement.
I was just pointing out the fact that Barca have 2 left wingers doesn't mean that them being interested in Bale is unthinkable.

Doovde,

please refrain from spamming on an article that I created with the intention to hear other users opinions.

It's not pleasant to force your opinion on others.

So are the Arsenal now saying Bale is not overrated? I get confused with you lot...

what minute he's overrated, the next he's off to Barca

I think tis logical that a club like Barca might start looking at a player of the calibre of Bale. They are always moving upward and Bale is a potent dimension not associated with them or La Liga.

Similarly given their current squad/play, tis difficult to see why they would be considering Bale at this very moment.

Squid - I also had no doubt Modric would not be sold, just an annoyance that people on here along with Chelsea didnt take Levy seriously when he said he is not for sale...more fool them

Nothing wrong with a bit of healthy debate.

To be fair Fabregas has gone on record saying he's an Arsenal fan, no doubt he's a Barca fan as well though.

The way the media twisted what he said about Van Persie yesterday was hilarious. He basically recommends finishing his career at Arsenal (something Cesc could have done ) but the papers wrote the complete opposite for the headline

As for Bale heading to Barcelona, not a chance. Spurs have a value for Bale that Barca can't match without selling and besides there's nothing to suggest Barca are interested.

IMO if he were to go then he probably would play at LB, Bale is too direct and not adept enough at holding onto possession to play in Barca's attack. However with the limited defensive responsibilities for Barca's fullbacks and the freedom afforded going forwards on the overlap as Alves does so well Bale could work well in that position.

Doov , dont forget the United fans who told us time after time that Nani was 10 times the player Bale was
