Levy wont mind, hes using the media to make it look like he wants to keep Modric. He is secretly counting the pennies ready to build a new stadium. Modric, Bale and VDV will leave with youngsters like Friedel, Neville, Parker, Kevin Phillips and Gabbidon joining them.

Spurs will be a force in english football once more.

They tried to do this last time with Frank Arnesen and failed so miserably as well.

What a truly sad, pathetic and classless club they have become

....

That's far more like a description of yourself

you even have a go at Spurs in your members page , how pathetic is that and just to show how ignorant you are you don't even know about the huge amount of compensation Spurs got from Chelsea over Arsenen .

I am hoping that Chelsea waste 35 million pounds on an overrated player i.e. Modric. He got 3 assists in Premiership last season and if we do need a playmaker we have our own Joshua McEachren who looks like a Messi clone and his performance against Newcastle at Stamford Bridge in Carling Cup last season took my breath away and I can now present a player who will dazzle players as his footwork is amazing.I am personally a member of Pakistan national football team which is ranked 172 out of 210 countries and I play as a playmaker and also as a goalkeeper as well as a centre forward.Preferrably I like centre forward and I wish I could do half the things McEachren does at 18 years of age as I am 22 years old and I would have been playing in Saudi Arabia in Asian Champions League instead of this low-quality league in Pakistan.I am amazed that tens of thousands of players are more talented than me and my fellow players but they don't become professional footballers because of low salaries for footballers---300 pounds per months which is ridiculous but how can I singlehandedly change my country when football professional is laughed at and people dream of becoming doctors, engineers, businessman, army officers instead of becoming professional footballers and I am the most passionate person about that I have encountered in my life but in Saudi Arabia and England I know that people are more passionate than me about football and I am slightly envious but at the same time happy for them and their love of football.

Sorry I was saying that I am hoping that Chelsea don't waste 35 million pounds on an overrated and actually boring player to watch Modric. We should sign Samir Nasri if we do need a player in a playmaker position and we need to sign a left winger.
Hopefully under Hiddink Malouda will give Chelsea at least two-three more excellent seasons like Malouda's performances in 2009-2010 season when was simply awesome.

LOL @ your statement about pathetic and classless. How ironic

Sitonmyface reply to my comment otherwise and let me know what do you think about it instead of having a go at other people you don't know and them having a go.JA606 is for debate instead of fighting over petty things and you are so wrong and by the way who do you want to sit on your face.I can bet it isn't Justin Bieber but perhaps Cheryl Cole.

Chelsea were subject to an international transfer ban not so long ago.

Surely tapping up Modric would simply be par for the course?

Why should he reply to your comment , he was talking to the article creator who made an extremely nasty and disgusting comment about the club we both support .....

Tottenham fans calling us classless

Now Birmingham and West Ham are down they are the ONLY ground in the whole premier league your advised not to wear away team colours in or around the ground - says it all.

When i went to the London Legends Cup i arrived at the cottage and asked a Spurs fan if Zola's been out yet and was told to **** off.

Plus Tottenham are in the most chavy part of north london while were in the rich part, them saying to us we have no class is like some 16 year old lad who has got 5 girls pregnant telling a well respected posh person they have no class.

It's the way football works now,I'm sure all clubs do it with the agents on the side.Problem for spurs is by missing out on CL football they have put themselves in a weak and vulnerable position for the big clubs to come after their assets.
There seems to be little point trying to keep an unhappy player so for me,rather than cash,I think spurs should be looking at swapping for players who would improve their squad, whether it be drogba or essien or Adebeyor as not being in the CL can be a hard sell for the better players as city found out last year.So far no move seems to have been made for Bale,VDV or Sandro yet but you can be sure they will be on someones radar.
The vultures are circling, can Harry and levy ward them off?

Deary me spuds,

Please read the article before coming on here with your knee jerk nonsense.

There is absolutely nothing of substance in it to back up the claim, no direct quotes from anyone at Spurs, not even the famous 'unknown source'

It is just a typical piece of stir mongering and speculation from one of the trashiest newspapers known to mankind.

BTW I have read the article and you have a disgusting record for being caught tapping up ....you have had fines and bans (suspended sentence) whether this happens or not we shall see but you havnt had a spotless past in this

Squid....

The past does not always reflect the present and if we go down this route then let's talk about 'Harry the bung' shall we?

posted on 19/6/11

Oh and if you want to believe everything you read, then Liverpool claimed Spurs tapped up Robbie Keane and Villa claimed Spurs tapped up Ashley Young.

Now if you can't debate objectively then you are just wasting both your own time and mine.

If some proof comes to light about us tapping up Modric, then fair enough, but right now there is none, so give it a rest.

Redknapp said this week: 'I won’t sit here and say I wouldn’t like to have Robbie Keane at my club because I would be a liar if I did.'

And yet we have Spud fans complaining that Chelsea leaked their bid for Modric.

You couldn't make hypocrisy any bigger or better if you tried.

Biggish if you have nothing to worry about ....why all the insults and the obvious agitation ...Hmmm worried ???

Whether you get done or not is something we will have to wait to see , the fact remains you have a track record for tapping up and have been done at least twice for it ..Oh and this is about Chelsea nobody else

posted on 19/6/11

what insult and what agitation?

I didn't write the article, I just laugh when i see people like yourself respond in knee jerk fashion to tabloid articles that are pure speculation.

You are precisely the client base they target!

posted on 19/6/11

So they were lying when they said you had form for tapping up then ?????

Oh you may think this is all spec but I wouldn't be too sure about it

I really find it insulting when people dont refer to us by our given name and a lot of other Spurs fans feel exactly the same
