This is far harder than I thought we have 2 or 3 greats for 8 and 6
Would anybody minds if that Loony Roberts gets No.4 ????

No 4, Danny Blanchflower - Captain of double team, 337 appearances - No question in my mind.
Cap' D,
Yes, but Scotty can redeem the number

Bloody hell 31
Thought we had one number tied up ....then you turned up
Im assuming the manager would be Bill Nich? or else I would be inclined to have him as RB, over 300 appearances and obv club legend

Stevie Carr, good shout. He was good for us and NEVER missed a game

More about Iconic numbers than great players .....For me the iconic no 2 shirt would go to Joe Kinnear but that's more down yo my age than anything else

No....not Carr, can't forgive him for leaving just after he finally learnt how to cross a ball. He was useless then when he got good he went.
From the early-mid 90's era, which was when I first started supporting spurs and going to games, the only players that I would argue for would be Ginola, Sheringham and Dean Austin.... Okay, maybe not Austin....
I think we need a subs bench (un-numbered...so we can have the ones we either argue over or have clashes with key numbers)
