There's them goal posts being scraped along the floor again. You never mentioned 'current form' a couple of weeks ago. You stated clearly that we were too many points and too many positions away from being in contention for a top 4 place. You stated that the only criteria for your theory was league position and amount of points.

Now that's changed your moving the goal posts again. But lets indulge you and take current form into account. Lets do last 6 games, is that fair?

So there you go, over the last 6 games we've been up there with Chelsea, in terms of points gained, but need to be wary of Newcastle. The most surprising is Arsenal, the team you claim ARE contenders.

I did mention "form". If you remember rightly, i used the league table as my evidence for "form", which is a better guide than any 2 week span you're trying to use. You seem to want to use whatever form guide allows you to put Liverpool in the highest position possible. The league table doesn't work like that. We have to use all games played.

Yes and the league table is ever changing. Over the 2 week period since this discussion has started Liverpool have gained 1 place in the league, and 2 points on the target that is 4th place. That means it is not impossible for Liverpool to gain a further 4 points, and 2 league places, over 15 games. They are making progress, Arsenal in comparison are regressing. Since we last spoke they have dropped a place and gained 1 point.

How am I? The form I put up showed Chelsea and Newcastle gaining more points than us, but not that many more .
