Deffinately. Whether we do is another matter. A few good results again't the best in the league and a bit of revenge required and we could just do it. I'd put it at maybe a 45% change of a spurs win.
*Definitely (i bloody hate that word!)

Good day.
Cold day for Chickens....
Cold day for monkeys too i expect.
For the record, as it stands Liverpool are back in 7th.
And now we're back in 6th .
red_man23
And i hope it stays that way.
So Liverpool are in 7th & again just as close to 8th as they are 4th.
I think my original comment is getting more consistent as the weeks go by, no more than the important point regarding having to leapfrog 3 teams to get 4th.
red_man23
What result do you want from the Spurs v Newcastle game?
Is it fair to say Liverpool are now out the running?
What are you now thinking?
Still contenders?
Or was i right in saying that 8th is more realistic than 4th?
No!!!
Not again!!!!
Chicken, in fairness you're out of the title race and we're out of the 4th spot race. We both lose
"Chicken, in fairness you're out of the title race and we're out of the 4th spot race. We both lose"
Yes but the reflects success for Spurs. I'd say yes we're now out of the race for 4th. The pressure's off, we're in Europe one way or another. It's time to start looking at our finishing, and identifying players for the summer.
Fred,
I never had us in the title race, i always said 4th spot was the aim.
The debate we had on here for days & days, and what i was getting slated for, is that Liverpool were never going to get 4th. And i think i'm being proved right.
Can i ask you something without getting my head bitten off? This is not a WUM question, just an observation. When Arsenal were doing bad, the press & pundits discuss the possibility of calling it time on Wenger, the same happens (& has now happened) at Chelsea, but nobody ever suggests that Kenny should be sacked, even though they are a club that is expected to challenge for the top spots, but are sitting in 7th & are close to 8th. Why do you think this is? Or is this a subject that is brought up amongst you fans?
red_man23
Are you saying the fans are content with the Europa League (following your CC win) & so are not too bothered with busting a gut for 4th?

I said it's apparent that we're now not going to finish 4th. It's relieved a bit of pressure and the players can get out on the pitch and address the finishing issue we have. It's not a case of being content. It's a case of reflecting on the season and looking at where we need to improve.
