is that when some of the villagers are dressing up as scary things in the woods to keep the other villagers inside the confines of the village? if you have just read this, i have ruined the film.
Shat my pants for Blair Witch Project.
The Exorcist and The Omen both disturbed me profoundly. Too young when I saw them.
Yeah, I saw Wolf Creek.
Nasty.
Wolf Creek is deeply disturbing.
---
i concur. one of the few films that left me shocked after watching it. that and brokeback mountain.
i remember watching blair witch project while the rumours of it being 'real' were rife. scary stuff.
eden lake is pretty disturbing if anyone's seen that. as is the strangers!
Wolf Creek is a poor man's Hostel.
it's nothing like hostel and was made far before. you're mental.
i concur. one of the few films that left me shocked after watching it. that and brokeback mountain.

Wolf Creek is quality.
Remember all the surrounding hype about it being a true story when it came out which made it all the creepier.
Winner!
They're both torture films! Not the story lines but the styles are similar. They're designed to shock you.
ehem. based on a true story.
yeah to some extent. although they both shock you visually, i'd say wolf creek is a lot more shocking overall. hostel was a bit too unrealistic and seemed, like the saw films, to have excess gore and blood for the sake of having it.
Yeah, Hostel was hard to watch. I confess to covering my eyes/leaving the room for some parts.
Beverlley hill cops, the fairground one was the best.
based on.

The most disturbing film of all time is definitely A Serbian Film. I've never seen it but I know people who have, and they said they've seen nothing like it before. All sorts of nasty things happen in it. I wouldn't watch it.
Paranormal activity is scary, when you are alone watching at night.
If you're looking for a good war film, The Thin Red Line and Apocalypse Now are both great.
However be warned... both are more slow and meditational rather than blood and thunder.
Kelly's Heroes and M.A.S.H. are both funny ones.
Beverlley hill cops, the fairground one was the best.

the music in that film is quality. is the fairground one where one of them gets shot in the a$$?
A Serbian Film
----
i think it's the kind of film you can get arrested for owning?!
For war films you can't beat Full Metal Jacket.
Beverley Hills Cop was the shiznit. Loved his boss in Detroit, Inspector something or other.
For a film (ahem) "based on a true story"...
saw Fargo for the first time in ages a couple of nights ago...
Still brilliant.
