That means your putting too much effort in on the real swing and maybe swinging too fast, losing the timing from your practice swings. Just try and gain a correct rhythm while practice swinging and hit the ball with exactly that rhythm.
Easier said than done of course.

Tried that Macca.
It is all do to with head placement and swing speed with me.
My playing partners often say that if I hit the ball with my practice swing I would be OK.
--------------------
I never take a practice swing. I just line up and hit it.
Not at golf courses

Could say the same about a petrol station but I still overheard. Same on a train before, the only time I took my headphones off and some loudmouth on his phone decided to ruin it.
Golf obviously means a lot to you so good luck with your choice.

I see that this thread has stayed on topic!
Maybe if I had mentioned my golf handicap alongside my factual comments earlier then my post would have stayed up?
PS...I am joking............

What ever happens and how ever bad I play, it will still be fun, and beer, copious amounts as well, will likely be drunk.
go on BB
what's your handicap then?

Maybe.
Give it a try sometime, you know trying to mix with people instead of trying to irritate them.

My handicap is 17, don't play too often nowadays though, maybe once a month!

Yeah ok mate, I will give it a go. Maybe you can give me a few tips? Having said that, seeing as your modus operandi imo is completely asocial, don't bother!

you do well to keep playing bogey golf just once a month.

I guess so. When I played regularly I flirted with a handicap of 10, couldn't get to single figures!

We should organise a 606 golf tournament. Should be quite competitive looking at our handicaps.
(reckon you could be a bandit tho)

Haha, imagine it! We could all play nice and have a few beers afterwards whilst discussing the FFP rules!!
I imagine every time I went to play a shot ,VC would just shout 'no' or 'yes'...as he does on here!

Not at all Billy.
But I would hit the ball at you if you were playing very slow or boring every one to death with exceptionally long diatribes..

Judging from your previous admissions, you would probably miss me!

Billy, I have that figured. I just pick a spot 40 yards from your right, take aim and hey presto, a proV1 right on the bonse.
Fred
I'm not from the USA. I am from England.
I meant where are you now but never mind.

If you could do that with success, then why don't you adjust your game to compensate for what you clearly understand is a problem?

Billy, sometimes you need to take a step back and realise there are quite reasonable long term United fans.

This is a cunning plan Billy, and one I have tried. The trouble is, whenever I try it I hit the bloody thing straight.
Frustrating as hell, but every now and then I make regulation pars and birdies, and keep coming back for more.
Have to go now.
See you all next week.
