I wonder how any 'sane' person can condemn judgement on a man who from the age of 18 has been honing his craft, has been hand picked by Bobby Robson as managerments shining future, got his first manager's position at 21 y/o, has won European football's second tier competition at 33 y/o ....... after seven months (only four of which have been questionable) which a bunch of players who mirrored this exact same slump not 12 months ago with one of the most experienced football manager's going.

Please, explain?

To be fair HHHBF, this "slump" has carried on right from October 2010 to now. We've never hit form properly again since then. We've won some games in a row but hitting form in my opinion is where the whole team is playing well and all on the same page with each other and scoring goals for fun and not conceding. Thats form for a Chelsea team.

The team has hit form, it just shows that they are no where near as good as they where before.

The team hasn´t played well for about 18 months and the cracks started showing well before AVB came along.

If certain fans want to believe that our problems started with AVB then so be it. They clearly aren´t looking at the actual evidence.

He's not helped the problems S.Frank. Some might say, he's made them worse with his questionable man management.

I just don't understand why so many on here were so happy about our transfer dealings, or to be fair a better way to put it is LESS WORRIED about the forthcoming season because we had a new world class manager who made some fantastic astutue signings overall. Battling for 3rd place but a comfortable top 4 finish. Nearly everyone predicted that.
