Thing is with kanye(not looking at the music) he has gone from being in the background making bangers for rocnation etc and his first few albums reflected that, he was cool, but the last 7-8 years hes just spiralled into the biggest numpty in music. Its a shame, for someone i've seen live so many times

Wouldn't call a lot of KanYe's stuff hip - hop. Stuff like all that Heartless stuff. T-Pain - not hip hop. Kid Cudi - not hip hop.
Music evolves, and artists evolve. Cee-Lo is obviously a hip hop artist from his Goodie Mobb days, but his solo albums are quite far removed from hip hop music.

But as for top mc...i dont know, cant remember a tune he ever outrapped anyone on a track. look at forever, drake eminem and lil wayne all seem to outrap him.
