Don’t agree with describing it as not normal at all. For one it occurs throughout many species which don’t have socialisation factors and ultimately it’s just love and putting your private parts in different places (who cares?! It’s 2024 ffs).

But I maybe come close to agreeing about schools. Teaching about these topics is very tricky grounds. Should kids be taught to be accepting, tolerant and non-judgmental of all people? Absolutely. But the application of teaching this needs to be careful where it’s not moving from teaching acceptance to encouraging or influencing children without parental involvement.

I actually respect him ( no pun intended). He’s an exceptional orator. There are a few things with which I agree with him namely the Iraq war x2 and probably nationalising vs privatising utilities etc. But whilst I don’t agree with him on most things he holds true to his beliefs (much like Corbyn say) and I respect that.

Plus I just loved him going up against the yanks over the food for oil accusations; he destroyed them and listening to him for 40 minutes on CSPAN made me proud to be British.

I’ll add that there are also plenty of things that he does that I don’t agree with at all. For me he plays the whole Islamic card a bit too much, I appreciate that on a local level he probably has to in order to get votes but I think it’s cheap to get in based on focusing on Israel Palestine as opposed to local government matters or not prioritising local matters. He would probably say that if he didn’t do that then he might not get in and therefore definitely cannot address local issues. I still think it’s cheap.

Oh yeah, of course that's anti semitic. Should have made myself clear. It's not even about ethnicity for me. It's about the same people owning large sections of the media, doesn't matter who or from where. I've spoken about this before even without the current prevailing angle of the situation in Palestine.

I know they say it's capitalism and free market but at the same time, allowing media ownership to be progressively concentrated in the hands of a few like it is in nearly every country in the world is clearly dangerous and shouldn't be allowed in my view.
