....but then again, are we bothered if our style of play changed as long as we're winning
-------------------------------------------------------

I would be bothered if we changed our style too much to compensate a new manager regardless of us winning. The style we now play is exciting to watch and regardless of win, lose or draw I would rather be proud of how we play.

Rogers is only 39 so has plenty of years left in him and even though a manager like Mourinho would be outstanding for us to get, you wouldn't hear me complaining if we end up with Rogers. What he has achieved with Swansea is nothing short of brilliant and a definite shout for manager of the year imo

Do we really want another foreign manager?

José Mourinho made him youth team manager at Chelsea in 2004 so he saw something in him

He has managed caulker this season and im sure harry would help him settle into the job .. he is a quiet man away from football so not in the press everyday , that might change if he manages Tottenham as his profile will rise

Morning Serial.. first on a Tottenham article as usual, why dont you just come out the closit

With regards to Rodgers and Tottenham, i'm afraid it's a case of the right person at the wrong time.

Let's be honest, what Tottenham really lack is success, in terms of trophies and titles challenges. Now Brendan Rodgers maybe the right person but what if you get another AVB situation? A few results go against you and suddenly the young, dynamic managers becomes inexperienced, inadequate. Will Tottenham fans support him with the same passion as they support Redknapp through your blip? Dunno about that.

But hey, it's a risk worth taking in my opinion. United took a punt in a young, inexperienced manager a while ago. The rest is history.

Problem is you could have just swapped Rogers name for Owen Coyle or Ian Holloway, both managers were given a lot of respect because at the time things were going well...I would want to see how Rogers gets on next season

Work in progress.
Reckon the pressure of doing it (now) at clubs like Spurs would be too much for him.

No point in AVB-esque damage to his rep at this stage in his career.

bumaniser boy first comment on the spurs board yet again.

obsessed much?

as for brendan rogers.. not convinced.... like the guy a lot and think he is perfect for swansea.....

tottenham and the expectation that comes with it is a whole different animal and the next managerial choice is so crucial that we cannot afford a mistake... could it be too much of a risk?
