He had to retire from football at 20 so he has had many yrs experience of football in this country.. AVB had no experience at all.. big difference
Blackpool were brilliant to watch. Was a shame they went down
After Sunday, I want Pleaty back.
Dont think blackpool walk off from games with 60-70% of the ball away from home RRP
Do work in a Chip Shop Chronic!
---
nope but you work in a petrol station
But people were still talking very highly about Blackpools fearless and attacking approach, to say you want Rogers in charge after seeing a few Swansea games is a knee-jerk reaction to say the least
I think that Rodgers needs at least another two seasons in the PL before he would be able to take one of the top jobs.
In our current position we need a very experienced name with gravitas to take over. I know that Mourinho & Guardiola would be too costly in terms of wages etc, but someone like Van Gaal, Bilic or Blanc.
Of those I would prefer Gaal as he has managed some of the top teams in Europe like Barcelona, Bayern & Ajax and also the Dutch national team.
If we stick to the UK, then I can only see Moyes and O'Neill fitting the bill currently. Moyes has done a great job at Everton on a shoestring budget & O'Neill might be too restrictive in style for us.
Who knows, Harry might just not take the job at all!

In response to Rodgers as manager I agree with RRP.

Klinsman would be a heart over heard appointment IMO
i could do the job.

I would love to see a Chronic Post Match Interview.....
Your like mrs weare.. RRP. upset me with horrible words then think you can make it up with a
Ohh go on then
rrp i would be talking pure sense.
Klinsmann might be a good shout, however he is very content with life in Clafornia and managing the US team.
He has I believe already discounted any chance of him taking the Spurs job. THen again that could be a ploy to put people off & Levy has been to the States frequently in the past 3 months.
As for Rodgers, if he did get appointed I would hope that we would get behind him and give him the encouragement and support that Harry has enjoyed at the The Lane!
weare is a right girls blouse isnt he

Who will run the chip shop.. ....
"We need a Morinho, Hiddink type boss imo."
Pep needs Spurs. It will be so.
Chronic would you be a suit man, training gear man or an XXL sleeping bag man like Arsene?
Thanks Weare, 's make this world a safer place!
Greaves - I think its safe to say everyone will get behind who ever is in charge, no doubting that, but i would be concerned if we bring in someone like Rogers, only because i imagine it would drastically affect what players we can bring in
Chronic.... are you RRP minder
