Greaves - You can bet that IF Harry does leave, the very next day we would appoint someone, plans would have already been put in place, i have no doubts over that
We need a proper Pre-Season with the new manager and back room staff..Only way it wont effect next season
Weare dont be so cruel

Chronic doesn't use Rohypnol.
He makes em read his personal copies of Tolleys.
RRP................................. It is the only way & like you I think DL will be ahead of the game on this. He will sound out people and might even have had private talks with both Harry & the FA as to their intentions.
If the FA definitely want Harry, Levy would be remiss in his duty if he hasn't already asked Harry will he take the England job, a straight yes or no, no ambiguity whatsoever!
If levy already knows the bigger picture I would expect him to have probaly put in place already a pre-contract agreement with a suitable candidate.
Strange thing is that the FA have not even approached Tottenham yet ?

Greaves - You can imagine Levy already knows whats going to happen, he is not one to sit around and wait, he would have already spoken to Redknapp, 100% sure on that...I reckon we have offered Harry a new contract and we are waiting for him to answer us, but in the mean time we are sounding out a few other options just in case
we r "They were in division two 5 yrs ago
First season in prem and spent very little money, do you really expect him to be challenging the top 4"
WHat are you bloody on about? I never said i expected him to get into the top 4 in his 1st season. What i am saying is he has done a very good job at Swansea but i would hardly say Midtable is enough to get him a huge job like spurs who will be possibly be in the champions league. For me an unbelievable job for Rogers would be getting Swansea in the top 7 and a Europa cup place, could still possibly happen but as we speak Swansea are midtable. Tony Pulis has done a better Job at Stoke, i'm sure know one wants him?
Pulis??????????????? Hmmmmmmmmmmmmm let me think about that one!
Also people forget that Swansea were playing excellent football under Martinez only a few years ago
How has Pullis done a better job.. Stoke have had premier league money and spent a fortune in last few yrs a dn do not exactly play the kind of football us or Swansea play
@ Genius, exactly......this is my point. Pulis might not play the football Rogers has but he has done a better Job at Stoke. I would never want pulis at spurs and currently i don't want Rogers. For me it has to be a top class manager, break the bank for Mourinho, Guardiola or a Hiddink.
@ We r, Pulis didn't spend much in his 1st season and he made Stoke one of the hardest sides to beat, he has got them in Europe. I'm not saying i want Pulis by the way, all i am saying is Rogers is currently being over rated because he has done a decent but not spectacular job at Swansea, He is not experienced or good enough for tottenham hotspur right now
Don.. if we can get a top manager like that then great but it wont be easy
Like i said Don, he has worked in foorball coaching and training since he retired at 20 yrs old, he has workewd for jose so sure he will become a very good boss, yes to soon for us but we could do worse is all im saying

Don...........................I trust in Levy, he will not want all of Harry's good work undone IF he does leave for the England job.
Our biggest hope is that Harry (and he has alluded to this previously) enjoys the day to day interaction with his players. He will not have that in the England job, in fact its quite a different job, more isolated, more intense media pressure etc. Whilst he is currently the darling of the media, all that could change after a few poor results with England.
We r, completely agree mate and Rogers could be a superb boss in the future but do you honestly think he will be the guy to keep the likes of Modric? or even attract the class we want to buy? I'm not sure. I also agree that it will be extremely hard to get a top manager like Mourinho but it's not impossible
RRP, i mentioned Pulis but don't worry, i don't want him as spurs manager was just making a point
Anyone still think Harry might turn down the England job ?
Thank God for that Don, i would be worried about your sanity if you did want him
I'm still optimistic RRP that Harry will stay, he was talking about next season the other day as if he was going to be manager. But that's Harry for you, we never know.
that last comment was for you aswell We r

If Pep is waiting, I hope not.
I said from day 1 i cant see Harry wanting to leave, ESPECIALLY if we do make the CL again...Time will tell i guess, but Harry is saying all the right things about being in charge next season etc...but thats just Harry
