CL will attract better players.
The point of the manager is to take the squad onwards and upwards on the pitch.
Completely agree with RRP that spurs fans wanting brendan rogers is just a knee jerk reaction. For all we know swansea could go down next season under rogers, then what? Would you still want him? Managers have come to the prem and had great 1st seasons like Coyle, holloway and even Tony pulis. I certainly wouldn't want these guys at spurs. Don't get me wrong swansea play excellent football and i know rogers is highly thought of but for me he has to have atleast another season and get swansea in europe for me to take notice and want him at spurs. Lets not forget although swansea are very impressive, they are only midtable. I personally people are over rating the job he's done
Chronic would you be a suit man, training gear man or an XXL sleeping bag man like Arsene?

DOn.. not read anyone saying they wnat him , just chatting about if he would do any good or be a good choice
At the end of the day, who knows if any manager will do a good job at any given club

"I dont imagine they require too much managing?"
Must start giving the to Pep doubters now.
His strength is being ITK about the Barca way.
THAT is his value. He played in it. He managed in it.
Those methods in the hands of Spurs will be f---ing lethal.
And do you think Spurs need much managing ??
Arry has an optimum formation (when fully fit) , and plays it.

They were in division two 5 yrs ago
First season in prem and spent very little money, do you really expect him to be challenging the top 4
Chronic would do a Adebayor when we score against the gooners
----
every time we played arsenal i would get sent to the stands and a three game touchline ban
RRP.............................Agree with you re the effect it could have on attracting players, which is why I said it needs to be an experienced person with gravitas & Rodgers does not fulfill that criteria at this time.
If we want a really top manager who is working wonders, look no further than Jurgen Klopp, although he wants to stay with Dortmund we should at least approach him if Harry leaves
brendan rogers isnt ready yet for the spurs job.
imo

Spot on Greaves...Sometimes just having a universally well known name can make or break a player signing, sadly thats the reality of it
he might become Jurgen Flop though RRP
