Christensen similar to Courtois, plays at the back and central, just a but further forward

Just reading in the express Roman is believed to have opened talks with Carol Ancelotti to return and take over at Chelsea
The switch may be accelerated if and or when Chelsea are knocked out of the CL as relations have become strained of late

--------------------------------------------

If the club sack Conte mid season then I'll be lost for words. If relations have become strained then fine, change manager at the end of the season.

As for Ancelotti I don't think it's a big secret that he'll be Chelsea manager again next season.

I was very displeased when Carlo got sacked....be quite happy to see him back...

Depending on Conte's plans that is

Well if we're going to to try and emulate what City have done this season with outstanding attacking play and a team filled with attacking players then Carlo wouldn't be a bad shout I suppose.

For the most part we were fantastic in that 09/10 season under Carlo when we scored 103 PL goals. Then again it all went to shet the following season even if we did somehow finish 2nd.

I'd obviously much rather just keep Conte as he's a terrific manager but he seems to have upset the Chelsea board/Roman with a few truth bombs.

I wouldn't discount Luis Enrique being manager next season if it's not Ancelotti. With all our Spanish players he might be seen as a good fit.

It will be one of those two I heavily suspect.

Given a choice I'd probably prefer Luis Enrique as he's something different from what we've had before. He might be replacing Jose at Utd though.

Just watched our highlights on MOTD...seemed in control for the most part...nice FK from Alonso

Ozil justifying his season salary with the one worldy goal then

Carlo showed in his Bayern stint that the game has evolved past his knowledge now. Going from Conte's complex tactical instructions to Carlo's 'just do your thing' would probably quickly lead to things going wrong.

What about something ridiculously daring like Eddie Howe

It'd never happen...I'm just throwing it in there...he'll surely get a bigger gig eventually

Sheriff - Roy is good for preventing relegation but out of his depth at a top level.

Definitely can understand people's hesitation about Carlo returning but all signs point to that being the case.
