Oscar, I am not commenting on whether colouring yourself black is simply an artistic choice of outfit or mocking someone else's racial identity....

What I am saying is that the consensus on blacking yourself up is that is offensive and seen as racist.

Consequently, if you are a footballer with a social media presence, endorsements, sponsors..in other words with an image or brand to protect - why on earth would you do that?

For argument;s sake, let's assume he was dressed as a particular famous basketball player who happens to be black...

Blackface has a very poor history. I can see therefore why people think it shouldn't happen at all. But Griezemann's intentions were completely different in history. Immediately linking it to sour historical points, for me, isn't a solution to true equality/harmony between races.
