Agree with BK that Kante has the Hamsik role with us. He is always in and around the opposition box. Kova and Barkley sit next to Jorginho in midfield.

Kante has the Allan role - box to box.

Kovacic/RLC/Barkley should be the ones provided the goals/assists

The EFL states that players registered and eligible to compete in league matches may compete in the Carabao Cup as long as they are registered by midday the day before the game.

As such, Higuain could make his debut for Chelsea in Thursday’s crunch semi-final second leg.

I think the team will be:

Hazard, Giroud, Hudson
Barkley, Jorginho, Kante
Alonso, Chris, Rudi. Azpi
Kepa

Maybe Willy for Girooo and Hazard in strike.

And understandably has had his fair share of poor games in a new position. He has essentially replaced Hamsun as the ‘goalscoring’ mid in the team - a player having an amazing or exceptional season in that position is getting 10-15 goals and around 10 assists minimum.

I do think in general he’s been improving over the last month or so.

I guess we disagree there, in my opinion he’s had a few.

The guys on WAGNH were saying he wouldn't be available, so I’m not sure now.

Eg on Saturday I thought he was poor but I know you thought he was good..think we just seeing different things lol.

Kante rarely goes below a 6/10 - at least you can never question his attitude and commitment unlike some of his team mates.

Just felt he's had more good performances this year rather than exceptional ones, mainly down to him learning this new position.

We should try to sign Wan Bissaka this transfer window. Looks really good Offensively and defensively whenever I watch him play. Good physical/technical player. I’d move Azpi to LB. The likes of Hazard and Kovacic won’t have to worry about much with Azpi behind them.

True. Funny thing is, Ashley coles first 10 games for us were crap. And he was giving a run. Give Emerson 10 games and see how he gets on
