both Randy...both...we haven't got a Fabregas replacement of any sort so we use what we have...which offensively...isn't working, but that's fine because apparently they aint there to do that anyway... i'm told

so we continue to be fed a diet of pointless passes in midfield until we run out of ideas & concede a goal

Fàbregas wouldn’t be creating much either right now as our front line is playing crap

Teams are playing a diamond in midfield against us, point of the diamond presses/man marks Jorginho all game and that basically ends Sarri Ball.

Teams are given us space out wide because they know we're never going to score from a cross as there is never anybody in the box and if it is someone, it's Kante...

Our best hope of scoring is when Luiz has to play a 60 /70 yard ball over the top hoping someone is on the end of it.

So our problem is lack of width then? Why is it Jorginho’s fault that we’re unable to offer any alternative threat? Should he be hitting passes down the wing, running onto them, dribbling into the box and burying it in the top corner?

God I miss Mata , we should sign Ramsey

We lack cohesion and chemistry

Higuain will at least provide that focal point up front and will hopefully be in the box for crosses but no one can cross in the side apart from CHO but he plays for like 10 mins.

Problem with our midfield and defence is that they take too many touches whilst on the ball and the speed of play is too slow allowing the opposition defence to get back into shape.

Someone put a tweet out after the game which summed it up nicely:

Conte - suffer without the ball
Sarri - suffer with the ball

Everyone’s as bad as each other, Azpi & Alonso offer nothing going forward, midfield offers nothing going forward, Willian offers nothing anyway, Pedro has stopped making runs behind, Hazard is garbage as a false 9

Higuain is more prolific but Giroud is a better focal point & has the best aerial ability in the world

Yes Oscar the team in general has been pretty rubbish lately and that’s why I don’t get why Jorginho in particular is being singled out when he’s far from the only underperformer.

Our two worst players recently are Willian and Alonso and somehow there’s more attention on Jorginho than either of them.

Not convinced he's the player to build this Sarri-Ball round. He's struggling with the pace of this league, every time he's pressed/man marked, he's basically out the game and so is our style of play.

Just think he needs to sit out for a bit but the problem we haven't got a replacement for him as to why I suggested 2 DM's in Kante and Kovacic.

Did u not watch the game at the weekend? Our problem is not lack of width it’s who we have out wide. Jorgino has been woeful the last month though. Some of his passing has been atrocious. Summed up by his pass in the last minute on Saturday

Pedro made 2 or 3 great runs in behind on sat, one he nearly scored from but couldn’t adjust his body quickly enough and hit it wide

Don't think it's a form thing, struggling with the pace of the league.

Majority of teams in Serie A do not adopt the pressing style of football and just sit back allowing the likes of Jorginho to have all the time in the world to pick a pass, not so easy in our league.

He started off well as teams were getting used to how we play, now that teams have figured us out, we haven't got the answer.

Teams have worked us out, they know how we play. They know how to defeat Sarri-Ball, man mark/press Jorginho, he can't live with it.

I’m confused, we’ve gone from “man mark Hazard and you stop Chelsea” to “man mark Jorginho and you stop Chelsea” in the space of about a week.
