We're stupid enough not to let him go for such a massive amount they were willing to pay in the summer.

Is this like his 12th club he’s played for?

At least 10-15 PL clubs should be after Cahill.

Gone quiet on Moses as well. I thought most of these guys would have left in the first week of January.

Drinkwater is staying here just to pick up the wages. Wasted his career.

Drinkwater was an important part of Leicester''s miracle title-winning season (and CL Quarters), not sure picking up a PL winners medal in that circumstance can be classed as wasted career.
He'd be quite content I'd imagine.

Drinkwater will most likely come in to replace Fabregas

Wasting 5 of his best years doing nothing is wasting your career. But he’ll probably join the loan army soon until he runs his contract down. Chelsea’s worst transfer.

Team I want to see on Thursday:

Kepa
Azpi Rudiger Christensen Emerson
Kante Kovacic
CHO Hazard Pedro
Higuain (depending on availability)
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Where does our best player currently Luiz fit into this then...

next to Kante is the answer

You’d think he’d be fine to replace Fab for 6 months, but Sarri outed him in a few weeks of training as not fitting his style which is fair enough

Great, if we finish 5th we should stick sack Sarri
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Finish 5th and win EL, still sack him?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
obviously not...we'll have qualified for the CL

We should have bought Siggurdson when he was available...scoring regularly and running the Everton midfield now...much like we should've bought Vardy 18 months ago

oh..KK

check your entry on the CPL thread...you need to amend it on the 0-0 thing..see rules

He’s alright at Everton, not much more. The best moments of his career has been as a star player in struggling sides.

posted on 21/1/19

so there's a very good chance he'd flourish in a top side...would you not agree

Yeah he could quite easily play alongside Kante in midfield, excellent long range passing. Christensen played well in the 1st leg so happy for him to play again on Thursday.

Nothing will top what Drinkwater achieved at Leicester (once in a lifetime achievement), even if he does prolong his stay at Chelsea until the end of contract (doubt he will).

His last two seasons at Leicester winning the title & coming close to a CL semi-final (narrowly knocked out by Atletico) is enough to not be classed as a wasted career.
Those seasons are probably the best he could offer anyway.

Drinkwater doesn't even feature in the match day squad, if he doesn't have any involvement in the FA Cup game, he'll be on his way.

Moses should also go, surplus to requirements now.

I'm gonna back sarri I think

I reckon he's come in and tried to impelements things and the players havnt responded

It's painfully obvious this current crop bar a few exceptions won't adapt to sarris style so he needs a squad that's capable
