I agree, there are no trends, that is my point. Editorialising Liverpool as favourites is a mistake. Perhaps time will vindicate that perspective but I cant see how you can look at:

a) Last season’s collapse
b) The fact they couldnt beat us with 10 men
c) They had easy fixtures but drew to Brighton and Brentford
d) Their paucity if offensive options beyond their first choices
e) AFCON taking their two best players for a month
f) Their lack of transfer activity

And think ‘favourites’.

I have given my views on their from last season and nothing you have said changes that view.

I don't agree that they have a paucity of attacking options.

I have already said that i am looking at them o er the past three years and not this season as it is too early.

I don't think they needed any transfer activity assuming they don't have another freak injury season.

Speaking of which.

Leicester's PL form at the end of last season and beginning of this season????

If Liverpool lose to City today then it gives a different perspective on their 1 1 draw with Chelsea. It might then be considered as two home failures.

But if they beat City then the 1 1 draw agst us might be considered as a lucky Liverpool break that proves crucial.

They will miss two games max. Brentford at home and Palace away. It's not devastating. I notice that they conveniently play us just before ACON.
