#Chelsea have had several accounts frozen on a temporary basis while banks seek more information on the club's new operating licence.

Barclays need time to review license. #Chelsea are hopeful that the temporary suspension will be lifted shortly.

As a result of #Chelsea's credit cards being temporarily suspended, it has meant they have currently been left unable to buy fuel for the team bus.

Ha! Lucky the next game is at home. Hope they made it back from Norwich.
Fk me
The trust is trying to talk with the gov yeah
A lot of this just seems to be hurting us over Roman
Be cool if they had to justify measures as actually being there to impact Roman
#Chelsea have argued that the club needs ticket sales to bring in enough revenue to remain operational and that the £20,000 cap on travel would not have even covered the cost of going to Norwich, let alone travelling overseas for #UCL games.

#Chelsea do not believe they would be able to complete the season under the current terms of the licence which they are hopeful will be reviewed in the coming days.

#Chelsea's current licence is not expected to be amended in time for Sunday’s game against Newcastle United.

Under the current licence, #Chelsea would not be able to pay for enough security, stewarding and catering to keep all sections of Stamford Bridge open.

Basically this has never happened before and no one in charge has a clue
Bidders for #Chelsea will receive an update from Raine over the weekend.

#Chelsea do not have a stock of blank shirts to use after Three asked for their logo to be taken off shirts. That means the players are likely to either still wear the Three logo or it will be covered up.

This
Was going to say the whole thing is ill-advised as Chelsea =\= Roman, so why we are having sanctions placed on us is both stupid and bizarre, it's not like Roman will benefit from this in any way, and all its doing is affecting people in the UK

Exactly, certainly not a one glove fits all scenario and treating CFC like a bank account that Roman can use is a tiny bit ridiculous
Our cashflow issue should push buyers to try and speed things up at least
The longer it takes the bigger hole they have to plug when they get the reins
I think it's a mixture of both incompetence (ie. not realising how damaging it is to the club to cut off revenue streams) and taking action because 'something must be done' and 'this is something'.
If they want to 'clean up' football and remove oligarchs and various other less scrupulous backers from football - fine - but the idea Putin suffers or Ukraine is emboldened by us falling into administration is laughable.
