Good to know
You just have to blank them out mate - we celebrate trophies, Spurs fans celebrate our misfortunes.
Probably going to put a new DVD in their club shop - two hours of newsreel footage about us being sanctioned.
Very sad, imagine being a football fan and only ever getting pleasure from any misfortunes of your rivals as your own team are such a modern day laughing stock.
I won't sing his name - but I can't help but love Abramovich after what he has both given for this club and what he has been prepared to sacrifice too.
It's blinkered, and possibly offensive to Ukrainians - but I am a fan, made of flesh and blood and full of flaws.
I've yet to see any good evidence that Abramovich has any remotely significant link to this war or Putin's decision to invade Ukraine. So I'll openly continue to say that Abramovich has been the best football club owner I've ever seen.
The link is Evraz - I am not sure how to square that circle but my feelings override it
According to this Guardian article Evraz is denying government claims that they've provided raw materials to build Russian tanks:

Watched this vid and feel much better about the whole situation. Once we get a new owner in all this administration armageddon talk goes away.

Anyway I've experienced similar to this back in 2003. Admittedly not to this scale.

Possibly the only adult to associate Mark Goldbridge with positive feelings.
He doesn't like DT tbf, so everyone has redeeming qualities

Some Liverpool fans such as Redin, Fields and Insert just hate Chelsea and have a political axe to grind too, so use Putin and war to point score.

Yep. Unfortunately humans are hard wired to (a) think about themselves in terms of insecurity & doubt, and (b) think with their hearts instead of their brains.
Even if categorical proof emerged that Abramovich has been directly funding Putin's war effort & shares his vision of a new Soviet Union, etc... I'm not gunna lie to myself & say my feelings about him will change. They might but I can't say they would. He's been directly responsible for too many positive memories during my most impressionable years as a person (teenager through till my 30's), you can't flick emotion on & off like a switch.

Whatever Romans past present and future it doesn’t change how great of an owner he was at Chelsea. I’m not going to pretend otherwise.
Yep he loves the club. He's a fan like us. Doesn't want to see the club struggle which is why he's happy to let the club go for nothing. Legend.
If he allows Chelsea to be sold now without benefiting from the proceeds, that will go a long way to proving your point. Let’s hope that’s how it transpires.
