I am sad Abramovich is going - despite the accusations against him and despite the fact way worse things in the world are happening.
The way the government has gone on with all of this, where do you draw the line? Every time we purchase clothes from certain places or electricals etc or spend money on foreign holidays, we are financing crimes somewhere or another. Government are,and always will be the first to blame or take action on others, despite being the worst offenders.
With Rudiger and AC both likely out the exit door, it makes selling Guehi and Tomori seem retrospectively misjudged.
Our academy is strong but whether we have ready made defensive replacements is questionable.
Mbuyamba is very raw.
Colwill has had a great season but still not played PL.
Ampadu is probably squad level at best.
Might have to switch to a back four side out of necessity.
Still a good chance we get Kounde to be fair, providing this all gets sorted soon

I don't know how i feel about him going to be honest.
I think discovering his true feelings about the war in Ukraine and Putin in 2022 will in the end determine my own view of RA.
I have never been a huge fan of him because i have had a deep aversion to the powerful in Russia for many years, but obviously i have had to balance that against the positive impact he has made on the club and in more erecent years to the community.

Reality bites for #CFC. I’m at Under-23s game and went to get a much needed cup of tea and a bite to eat from the bar area. On autopilot, reached for my wallet. “It’s free,” replied the employee behind the counter. #Sanctions.

It was more what he didn't say I think. Not that I seen anything wrong with it. He said he felt for the fans but distanced himself from answers about the club and Roman etc. Not enough for some people.
Breaking: Roman Abramovich has been disqualified by the Premier League from being a director of #Chelsea after government sanctions.

I think we have a small chance still but no more than that. It's a shame - a big leadership void with his absence.
No idea if we'll still make a play for Kounde after this.

Surely he's going to park them all in Russia?
In all seriousness - when you include the £3bn write off for Chelsea, the collapsing of Evraz, the likely confiscation of his European properties over coming months, and the fact the West is trying to pivot from Russian energy...
It's hard to imagine him having even a quarter of his wealth.
Don't get me wrong, still loaded and hardly a victim, but pretty incredible loss making.

He's about 4.5 billion in loss at the moment...on paper. Properties and loss on Chelsea etc. But I dare say he has a lot hidden away, as most billionaires do, that's why they are billionaires .
The Government have amended #Chelsea's special license, which sees the Club's spend increase from £500k to £900k to host games at Stamford Bridge.

I really didn't want Swiss grandpa last week but now I'd snap your arm off for him.
My reading of the situation is that It doesn't change a lot except say that Abramovich isn't welcome in English football. It would have forced him to sell the club but that process is already underway. That's following the sanctions imposed on him by the UK government. #CFC
