Xavi staying at Barca for one more season
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Means Flick will be available then, as he was rumoured to be Xavi's replacement.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
If we are getting rid of Poch in the summer then Flick is one of the few available managers I'd feel comfortable getting.
Just wondering if Flick goes back to Bayern though given than Nagelsmann won't be going back.
So thanks to us, Klopp leaves with a trophy instead of leaving g empty-handed

City or Arsenal then for the title.
I think Arsenal will win their remaining games.
I think City win 5 of their remaining 6, draw 1.
Both finish on 89 points. Arsenal better goal difference

Arsenal really have a great chance. Spurs game massive for them.
I think City trip up in these two games in hand. They haven't looked overly convincing and Haaland is off the boil too.

Can’t see arsenal beating all of United Everton spurs
Think they slip up in at least 1 maybe 2
Fulham spurs West Ham won’t be easy for city
To be fair, although I’d rather city and I’d hate arsenal winning it (20+ years since a PL one banter we have over them) they do actually deserve to win it imo
CHELSEA PLAYERS COME OUT IN DEFENSE OF POCHETTINO
CHELSEA PLAYERS WILL NOT ACCEPT POCH SACKING
SENIOR CHELSEA STARS HAVE TOLD CHELSEA BOARD POCH HAS TO STAT
A source told SunSport: “They are all buying into what Poch is trying to do. The problems at Chelsea are not all his fault. Some of the players think he is the best man-manager in the business.
“If Poch gets sacked it won’t go down well at all. He is not the problem.”
In a stunning turn of events judging by previous history on the west side of London when the going gets tough the players want the manger removed, the majority of the Chelsea players are all said to be fully supportive and behind manager Mauricio Pochettino and a minority of players have even committed to handing in transfer requests should the club terminate Mauricio and his coaching staff in the summer.

It is believed one Chelsea player with a lot of backing and near the top of the hierarchy in the dressing room was asked by members of the Chelsea board for his thoughts on a managerial change in the summer, the response “I will not be here next season for a new manager”. It is also rumoured Cole Palmer is fully supportive of Mauricio which carries weight with the board of directors of Chelsea.

Guess Jose dream is over
To be fair it’s only the sun, the guardian, the telegraph and Chelsea “news” reporting this
Assume Matt law is the only credible one from the above, the sun’s source could be Poch himself ffs
Don't believe one word of any of those reports
What Palmer thinks carries weight with the board

Who does Glasner think he is coming in and changing the perception of Palace within two months while missing key players?
Doesn’t he know it’s supposed to be impossible to beat teams like Liverpool at Anfield unless you have a squad full of superstars and zero injuries?
First Emery and now Glasner, this is truly impossible stuff we’re witnessing. Books will be written about those two

Guarantee one or both of them p!sses their fans off next season, football's a fickle b!tch. This time last year the idea Newcastle fans would be questioning Howe/thinking they can upgrade, was absurd.
We've reached the point where giving a manager time equals 6 months max + previous accomplishments mean jack sh!t.
Emery’s already there a year and a half and there’s no sign of a drop off
There was always talk of Newcastle eventually having to upgrade from Howe, but he was doing well so people basically were like “fair enough” and it was kept to a minimum. He earned that by turning their fortunes around so quickly
We’re 10 months in and we look no different than we did on the opening day, actually look worse tbh, which is why Poch doesn’t deserve time. Compare that with what Sarri did for example, someone who actually was hounded unfairly
I’ve always been one for patience with managers but I don’t think they should just be given time no matter what. Chelsea have wasted enough time as it is

This - this right here
If we had seen a modicum of improvement, and something resembling a team, keep him. But instead the people we have him here helping are leaving for peanuts and both arguably would have helped/improved the team. One has been part of team almost in the CL final FFS!
Tbf Poch has done reasonably well against the big teams. Gone toe to toe with the best and has been unlucky in a lot of those games. Also done really well in both domestic competitions.
Put a top striker in Jackson’s position and we’re probably in the top 4 and cup winners (yes that’s how many sitters he’s missed).
But they’re always those wtf moments with him like last game or away at United where you’re thinking wtf’s your game plan.
