Nah bruh. It simplistic to believe a change of managers will do anything. Which is why people hardly care or spend any money on a manager.

Who does Glasner think he is coming in and changing the perception of Palace within two months while missing key players?
Doesn’t he know it’s supposed to be impossible to beat teams like Liverpool at Anfield unless you have a squad full of superstars and zero injuries?
First Emery and now Glasner, this is truly impossible stuff we’re witnessing. Books will be written about those two
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Granted on Emery, but ditch the anecdotal rubbish on Glasner until there is a respectable sample size.

Tbf Poch has done reasonably well against the big teams. Gone toe to toe with the best and has been unlucky in a lot of those games. Also done really well in both domestic competitions.
Put a top striker in Jackson’s position and we’re probably in the top 4 and cup winners (yes that’s how many sitters he’s missed).
But they’re always those wtf moments with him like last game or away at United where you’re thinking wtf’s your game plan.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
There is no doubt that Jackson has cost us quire a few points.

So have shocking displays from other players, an average of 8-10 injuries every week, poor team talks at half time, lack of active subs at crucial moments and lack of in game management in general
Shocking displays range from Caicedo, Sterling, Cucurella, Enzo, Sanchez, to name 5 over the season
Some have improved...from a very low bar...some should be better anyway
Oh...not to mention our shatshow of a medical Dept...i want answers here

Enzo Fernandez has made the decision to undergo surgery. His recovery will take about three weeks, with the #Chelsea midfielder now set to miss the remainder of the season.

Will be good to have an attack next season that doesn't just comprise of Cole Palmer and a very green Nico Jackson who should never have had to play as many games as he has in his first season. He should have been a very useful backup striker but for reasons known only to the club they decided to not bother buying a top striker in his prime.
🚨 There is reportedly a feeling among some at Chelsea that Pochettino has been too soft on his some of their inconsistent players and that a tougher approach is needed.
Most Chelsea players want Pochettino to stay, believing that he has shielded them and worked to foster a good team spirit. Pochettino believes his methods will reap rewards in the 2nd season, like they did at Spurs.

Not sure I agree with poch doing well against big teams.
We should have pummeled that liverpool team in the final.
City games I agree. Liverpool and arsenal at home.
Other than that, awful v spurs.
And 4 of probably the 10 worst perfomances ive seen from us in a decade against newcastle, arsenal, utd and liverpool away.
Its in the top 10 with watford away bakayoko game, man city away when we didnt move and some others.
Think that's why the Nkunku injury has double fecked us as it seems that the club didn't buy another striker as they were thinking that Nkunku could play up front. And he probably can but we'll never know as he's permanently injured.
If we don't buy an established proven striker this summer then we clearly haven't learned anything from this season and there's little hope that we'll get back into the top four next season.
Ivan Toney. Make it happen Chelsea.

Emery’s already there a year and a half and there’s no sign of a drop off
There was always talk of Newcastle eventually having to upgrade from Howe, but he was doing well so people basically were like “fair enough” and it was kept to a minimum. He earned that by turning their fortunes around so quickly
We’re 10 months in and we look no different than we did on the opening day, actually look worse tbh, which is why Poch doesn’t deserve time. Compare that with what Sarri did for example, someone who actually was hounded unfairly
I’ve always been one for patience with managers but I don’t think they should just be given time no matter what. Chelsea have wasted enough time as it is
--------------------------------------------------------------
Fans say that give managers time but they really don't. Newcastle was one example but I could name several only in the last few years. West Ham/Moyes is another one, I don't know what more he could do to prove he deserves that job but tons of them just aren't having it. ten Hag's another, one bad season as a manager in what 6-7 years? Suddenly he's a fraud! Tuchel possibly the most outrageous example at present, one job that's not gone to plan & way too many people are calling him past it? It's all a bit much.
I couldn't give you too many strong reasons to keep Pochettino, but equally I can't really say how he's done is worse than Potter (it's marginally better imo) or the last 9 months of Tuchel. So in a sense you are right, it would be keeping him for the sake of keeping him, but sacking him now would be harsh imo.
Next season the bar would be a little higher, as this season was one of inconsistency leading to coasting our position, he'd need to live around the top 6 & put up a real challenge for 4th by the 2nd half of the season & beyond. If he failed to meet these objectives, he can't have any complaints. But if we lose to Spurs none of this will matter
Enzo now out for several weeks after surgery
Majority of the Chelsea squad have expressed concern about Mauricio Pochettino leaving, stating that they would prefer sustainability going forward rather than another managerial upheaval.
