I’m not sure that’s quite fair. Playing in Italy, and especially playing against other old men in Saudi Arabia (I assume, as I haven’t watched any of that and don’t intend to) is much less stressful on the body. Some players like Pulisic can’t handle the stress and pace of the PL. And Kante just needed a break at his age - I imagine playing in SA is like a stroll in the park for him. I’m not sure Chelsea can be blamed for their injury problems.

Not sure you can bring up the pace and physicality of the PL when most of these mugs get injured in training.

I thought Trent had a decent game 🤷🏾‍♂️

Christensen is another one. He played 42 games for Barca this season and is now playing in the Euros. Yet we couldn't keep the cant fit.

Fair logic for acute injuries but I imagine most of the issues arise from chronic problems, hence high rates of reinjury

Anyway Kante in action next. Most football I’ve watched in a long time.

In the previous games:

- Mudryk was rubbish
- Lukaku’s link up play was good but really should’ve scored a couple in the first half.
- Everton’s Onana is rubbish. Awful on the ball.

completely disagree with your first two lines here. It's funny how people see different things.

Lukakus hold up in particular was pretty basic and sometimes absolute crap. Tried to play two one twos with trossard and kdb in the space of 2 minutes both went to the cbs

Remember when Lukaku bullied Arteta’s Arsenal in his second debut for us.

Good times. The world was a better place in late 2021.
