2nd half was a terrible watch. Both teams just wanted it to end.

Expected tho. Also without Palmer we’ve not looked great even last year.

I imagine he will be yes. Never heard of him, but Marseca's football apparently needs a mental sweeper keeper - like a Thiago Motta sweeper keeper who lines up with the D-line if necessary.

We will concede a few really dumb goals this season because of this 100%, the PL will punish this no matter how good the keeper is at it.

Jorgensen was poor, for a sweeper keeper he felt reluctant to leave his line.

Maresca blaming the high line on Poch

I watched the whole game. We were fairly terrible in the beginning part of the game when Real scored two. After that I didn't think we were quite as bad as some have made out. Maybe Real took their foot off the gas I don't know. But they're the best team in the world and they were near enough full strength with their starting 11.

As I keep saying this Maresca side in it's infancy trying to find it's feet should never have had to play all of Real Madrid, Man City and Inter Milan. We needed some easier games to help development but all preseason has felt like backs against the wall in really tough fixtures.
