Madueke's attitude stinks but he's been playing well in pre season. Nothing wrong with healthy competition I guess.

Had the same situation under Potter, made a lot of sales and now just buy, buy, buy to land us with a bloated squad again.

Pedro Neto's a smashing deal for this ownership. He's 24 y/o & capable of being a squad player at the start of the season.

If this was a Roman transfer I'd say hilariously overpriced & kind of stupid but with these jokers? 5 star sh!t right here

To be fair, Neto (when fit) would definitely improve our team. I’m not going to complain about us signing him. That’s fantastic. We just need to sell 3 or 4 of our forwards now, plus buy one decent centre back.

Money spend is irrelevant. The argument can only be logical if its for the quality of players we have bought we should be challenging for titles.

The logical argument is clearly that for the money spent we could’ve purchased a higher quality of player and therefore challenged for titles.

If you can’t see how that was implied by my original comment I can’t help you.

Madueke could be sold to Newcastle. I hope it’s Mudryk on the way out though.

So, we need to cut down to 25 or so.

In terms of who won't be here in September:

Kepa will be ditched one way or another. Petrovic is a solid keeper but doesn't suit Marsecaball.

Slonina will go on loan. Presumably Beach is in the U23s and Bergstrom is also likely a loanee.

Defenders is trickier. My guess is we sell Chalobah. Acheampong, Humphreys and Wiley end up on loan. Veiga is more of a utility man, probably in our midfield mix.

In midfield, I predict Ugochukwu, Casadei and Kellyman go on loan. Also think there's a chance Chukwuemeka goes on loan too, but we'll see.

Forwards, I think Lukaku is out regardless and we sell Broja. Datro Fofana will also be on loan somewhere - feel sorry for him tbh.

Samu, Angelo, Washington, Moreira, Matos, and George I think will all go on loan somewhere too,

Leaves us with these 26 players:

GKs: Sanchez, Jorgensen, Bettinelli
DFs: James, Gusto, Badiashile, Fofana, Tosin, Disasi, Colwill, Cucurella, Chilwell
