So Brighton had 60% possession and completed 200 more passes than Chelsea. Yet it sounds like Chelsea should have scored at least 7.

What sort of game was this?

Remember Ange's high line when we beat Spurs 4-1? It was like that but for 90 mins.

Some of our misses were worthy of Chaplin slapstick comedy or the Beano. As were the goals we conceded.

Happy with the win, but feel like I learned nothing from it.

Cole Palmer FC
----------------------------------------------------------------------
That was last season lol. Palmer been great today but we haven't been overly reliant on him this season thankfully.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

We were super reliant on him today

Without him none of our airhead players would have scored.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Yeah he played really well today for sure. But the story of our season so far isn't Cole Palmer.

And before today there was those saying that Palmer was looking a bit invisible in thid Chelsea side etc. So you really can't please everyone lol..

Much less impressed than most on here. It was basketball and except most our players kept missing easy two-pointers.

Sanchez 2 for the 2 saves

That might be the first 10 I have seen on here, but maybe Hazard got one in the past

We won and didn't bottle it 4-4.
Palmer is also brilliant.
Sancho continues to impress.

That's my positives.

We can't defend and were at mercy of Brighton's poor finishing and lack of composure.
Sanchez dropped two clangers.
Fofana looks completely off the pace still.
The rest of our frontline either aren't clinical (Jackson) or are selfish muppets (Madueke).

So Forest got a lot of credit for how they set up at Anfield. That has been our achilies heel for years now. Feels like that game will be an early litmus test.

Jackson missing the open goal annoys me.

We'd be remembering that Palmer swing pass for years if he had done the decent thing and scored. Instead I'll have forgotten by next week.

Was not thrilled with Maresca’s appointment. But, imo, it does look like we are improving as the weeks go by. Also pleased we didn’t wilt after the keeper clangers today. Also, as others have said, been much adaptable than we were led to believe. Saw Brighton’s suicidal line today and was happy for us to simply play over it.

Was a great first touch though, finish looked easier because of how good that touch was, so I don’t judge it too harshly.

Yep. He took too much time to finish it. Very poor in front of goal today. Even his assist he messed up whilst running through on goal.

4 wins and 1 draw in our last 5 PL games. I'll take that

Can’t believe we signed Fofana instead of Kounde. Injuries aside he’s a much inferior yet more expensive player.

I honestly think Chalobah is superior to all four of the CBs — Fofana, Disasi, Badiashile, Tosin — that he's been ditched for.
