Fofana and Badiashile only 23yo. Still got time to improve. Let’s not forget both have missed up to a season with injuries.

Fofa maybe, but Bads doesn't even seem to be able to kick a football......so pointing out he's 23 I see more as a negative

So was we lied to about maresca? We were led to believe he played slow build up and control lol

Based on the feedback, I'm starting to think yes
I was expecting Sarri part II, not what this sounds like which is Lampard II.

Seen that now too. Sanchez and Brighton were in a exceptionally generous mode. Apart from Palmer it was a poor quality game and Jackson continues to lack striker instinct when it comes to finishing and knowing when to get his shot away

To be fair he fed Palms well & was unlucky with the one cleared off the line

Yeah, but that is my point about getting his shot away quicker. He doesn't to sense how much time he has or an awareness of where the nearest defenders are to him. In a nutshell he takes too long

So for melm it depends on the opposition. Jackson was the right selection agst Brighton's high line. Despite his highly suspect finishing his movement and pace is very good.
If however Forest set up with a deepblock agst us like they did versus Liverpool then Nkunku might be the better option to start.

I don't know the actual rules but in practical terms .....no chance
Despite the scintillating entertainment on show, former Liverpool right-back Steve Nicol insisted that the performance of Chelsea and Brighton was “a joke”.
Nicol said on ESPN: “If you like entertainment, chances, mistakes and all the things that go along with it, then you can go and watch Chelsea and Brighton.
“If you like proper football, that was a joke. Those two teams were an absolute embarrassment defensively.”
Ouch!

We're nuts if we let that happen and don't at least try to sign him as well. He's worth at least twice that £58 million.

Having watched/been subjected to a lot of Steve Nichol's punditry over the years I can't remember the guy ever having a good word to say about us lol. He has a genuine dislike of Chelsea FC and is unable to hide it.
