I'm sure he was, also remember that somethingvic and kyriagkos being on silly wages as well. Luckily you let them go!
What's luis elsuarez one?
-------------------------------------
Kygiakos would have been, he was a free transfer.
Suarez was on around £75,000 although Rodgers suggested a new contract for him recently so I see this going to the £100,000 mark.
Maybe shouldn't go there doovde.

because you win less, have a smaller ground, worse training facilities, lower wage cap, less fans around the World and smaller merchandising and sponsership.
------------
We've finished MILES above you 3 seasons in a row. Our ground move is no secret. Lower wage cap because we're run like a proper football club. Our training facilities? Are you for real, we have just invested in a world class training facility, it's one of the best in the UK.
Thanks.
-----------------------------------------------
Football only started 3 years ago then?
You finished miles above us? What did you get for that. Melwood is comparible to anything you have and you don't hactually have the new ground. You have a lower wage gap because your a smaller club and that ties into global fanbase, sponsorship and merchandising.
Here is the news delusion of granduer boys. The size of a football club, in fact nay kind of club, is judge by it's member/fans.
We have more. We win more and you could finish abpve us for the next five years and you'd still be Londons 4th club.
Come back when you win something big and you may be able to lace our boots.
Thanks.

Thanks.
Good stuff Galv, your sabbatical has gone on for too long. Going to lunch soon, back after 2.00

West Ham are bigger I suppose?
Now now robbing, don't act a child, be the bigger man.
We must be all out of ideas for the friday thread Galv, what you thinking for today?
Arsenal ladies are bigger that your underacieving shower.
When Rafa was in charge Spurs spent £213m in five years to win a CC and we get slated!
Spurs fans have become mental. I find it weird. The stuff you celebrate, like gaining 8th place in a Cup, we consider failure.
You would not see a big club releasing a DVD of a derby win. It's cringeworthy how desperate you are to be at a "top table".
Well achieve something of note and you'll be there but until then shhhhhh.
Thanks in advance.

So, it's been reported that Swans offered 35k, and he's on 55k at Spurs. I guess we offered somewhere in the middle....
--------------------------------------------------------------------
Rob,
Why would Rodgers have offered him more money than he did at Swansea
Gylfi clearly thinks Spurs are the better option anyway
