Where are we meeting?? Give me the address I'll be there
you absolute facking clown
------------------------------------------------
Does your mummy let you go to other cities all by yourself?
I am not saying Rodgers lied at all, i'm not even suggesting my theory is right. I'm stating that without knowing the actual amounts you're just guessing.
--------
Do you reallt believe for one minute that Liverpool would have been this stubborn over a few thousand?
The clubs stance shows that the player came back with an amount that was out of the question.
Rodgers comments don't sound to me like there wasn't much in it - quite the contrary.
I'm not guessing, i'm using logic to present 2 possibilities
Put it this way - if the shoe was on the other foot, I'd be furious at our board for offering more wages (whatever the amount) for a player that cited football reasons as the primary factor - not money
whats this??? someone doesnt live Liverpool??? challenge him to a 12 year old user name bet!!!!!
-------
Judging by the amount of smileys you use in every post, I'd hedge a bet he's not far off the mark
Tottenham also Ran Hotspur
He got offered more at Spurs
--------
Yes, we're all aware of that
This thread however, is whether or not Spurs offered the player such an amount or whether the player requested it.
I hardly think Spurs would nearly double the mans wages if he wanted to move anyway
So have Spurs broken their wage structure for this Hoffenheim reject?

What a load of Tottenham. What a steaming pile of Hotspur
What a controversial thread this has turned out to be
I had good intentions as well
I'm sick to death of this "He got offered more at Spurs" rubbish. First of all none of you work for the club so therefore have no clue how much he was offered. Secondly and lets be honest about this your wage structure is considerably higher than ours and Suarez is on a rate of pay that is way above any of our current players, as probably is Gerrard. Wages were never a problem for you when signing dross like Downing, Carroll and Henderson. At least Gylfi is a quality recognised international and in his loan spell at Swansea last season showed is better than most of your midfield players, barring Gerrard. When you signed Suarez I was genuinely gutted as I felt he could do a job for us but am glad we didn't as the man is a complete . My point is until you know what he is paid you are just working on assumptions. If it came out we offered the same as you did all these articles would look rather silly.
------------------------------------
Your right but your also wrong for the same reason! You don't know how much he was offered or if he was offered more or not. You say Suarez is a complete what do you base this on, the Evra incident? You don't know the man and let's face it you've had your fair share of diving over the years and in Gallas you have a grade A .
In my opinion for what ever reason Sigurdsson picked Spurs, it's his decision to make and fair play to him. Last season you had a better squad than us but you've just appointed a young manager with potential, just like us. You have limited options up front and may lose a couple of your best midfield players in Modric and VDV. I can see us finishing in very similar positions!
Does your mummy let you go to other cities all by yourself?
hmmm I honestly expected more from you than this, this is by any mans standard piiss poor
take a break, take a few deep breaths, calm yourself down
and chomp on my you absolute juvenile facking brainless shietbag

True, I heard a rumour we were going to spend 17 million on Bentley.

I have it on good authority that Spurs were going to buy Caroll for £20,000,000....then I heard something about some backwards hillbillies from up north putting in a counter offer and I haven't seem him since...

Paisleys (but written all weird - I don't know how to replicate that).
No need to bring up that Red Dwarf quote, it still haunts me to this day....
I don't understand the point of the post reallt Metro. No offence or anything but they offered more money and he took it. We would not budge. Can't fault the lad and good luck to him.
King Luis Suarez - I might be fick but I can spell DEEEEENCH!!! (
Whilst I do not doubt your sincerity in supporting your club, Spurs finished nearly 20 points in front of Liverpool last season, and I would expect the gap to be similar this season. Spurs may be losing a player or two, but they are also strengthening, and have playrs that did not feature at all last season, coming back from injury.

Why expect better? I'm dealing with a little boy, I have to talk on your level. Don't be offended, son, it's just easier that way.

I would say there is about a 5% chance of Spurs finishing 20 points ahead of us again personally. My opinion on that may change depending on who signs who but right now no chance to my mind.

Take my bet Sandy? If Liverpool finish above Spurs this season you have to include 'I Love Liverpool' in your username. You can make up my forfeit. Challenge accepted?
