TOOR, now, sandy is the one to make the bet with. He'll defo go for it.
I have only just turned up for this article, I am on my best behaviour these days, so do not want to get involved in slanging matches with opposition supporters. But would be keen to know what this bet is you are talking about.

Times are bad when we're having WUM wars with Spurs fans. It used to be United now we're down on Spurs' level. Shame.

Take my bet Sandy? If Liverpool finish above Spurs this season you have to include 'I Love Liverpool' in your username. You can make up my forfeit. Challenge accepted?
I have already had a bet as I did last season, that Spurs will finish above Liverpool, so can see no harm in taking you up on your offer. As it happens I do love Liverpool, spent quite a bit of time up there, it is just the football club I am not that keen on, Always preferred to go to Goodison Park.
I dated a scouser - it is in fact true

Were Liverpool in for him , then?!?!
Jeez, really hit a nerve, hasn't it? It's not as if we've pinched Messi from under their noses. He's a good addition, but probably not a key player (at least not yet). Plenty more fish in the sea...

This is all getting a bit tedious.
To refer you all back to the first comment, "who cares"?

Wow wow there. What are the terms of your other bet? I'm not falling for that one. You could have bet that whoever loses doesn't post again then that makes my bet pointless! You trickster you!
From what I remember the day you signed Suarez the figure of his wages was given at over a 100k a week, way over our 75k limit. When Gerrard was given a new contract his deal was at a similar weekly wage due to his status within the club as your most respected and best player. I base the Suarez comment on not only the Evra incident but he already had a reputation from the World Cup with his cheating and this did not improve when he joined you with his diving and general wreckless challenges on players. Reagrds to Gallas you are only going on what he was like at Arsenal, whilst with us he hasn't done anything I can say has been out of order since joining us.
It never used to be utd toor as the feeling about being level wasn't mutual
Just like we don't see u as league rivals anymore as we have a group of midfielders that can string more than three passes together
I think spurs will suffer greatly with the loss of Modric, and VDV.
Also they have just lost the best manager they have had in decades, and in his place brought in probably one of the most clueless tacticians I have ever seen in top flight management.
I think spurs did well over the last couple of years, punching above their weight, but unfortunately have nothing to show for it. They played some nice football, but all good things must come to an end, and Im afraid spurs will return to their usual position, knocking around the Europa places.
Anyway good luck to them, they played some decent stuff under Harry.

Suarez is on £75,000
Gerrard 110,000
Gerrard is the only player on £100,000+
Torres was but he left.

He did not cheat in the World Cup - he gave away a foul.
I would love to see the example of a reckless challange that you've mentioned.
The Evra incident, as we all know , was absolute bollox.
Why do people make things up? I find it bizarre.
Amazing insight jloo, how did you know that before the board did?
Metro is obviously upset about this transfer.
Also, his wages haven't even been disclosed, so god knows where you got the "Spurs offer a considerably higher wage to the player" from.
Man up, let it go. We're the bigger and better club. Liverpool will just have to settle for the Adam's, Henderson's and Downing's of the football world.
Enjoy.
