Everyone's probably having their cups of coffee now before the trial restarts at 10am. Terry of course, is having it off in Suite 7 with the receptionist #warmup

We're being played key last 15 mins of QPR-Chelsea on court. Silent footage, with prosecutor occasionally commenting on what's happening

Imagine if they randomly switch on our FA Cup semi final against the spuuds. Lunchtime treat

#Terry‬ tells FA he has "nothing to hide" with "cameras" everywhere on pitch, he could have "whispered in someone's ear"

‪#Terry‬ told FA he was repeating back what he thought Ferdinand had said to him.

"I'm not having anyone, let alone Anton, think that about me" - ‪#Terry‬ to FA

‪#Terry‬ tells FA in interview "been called many things in my football career" but "being a racist is not one I'm prepared to take"

QPR - Terry reveals in FA interview that one of the QPR players was making comments about his mum. He didn't want to name the player

Bet you he'll be found not guilty

Apparantly the prosecution are not calling up any witnesses.

They must have some sort of audio then.
I find it impossible to believe it would have gone this far without it.

JFDI couldnt have Ferdinand stopped this from going to trial?

As I said, Not sure what the CPs have up their sleeve. Im sure I did read somewhere though this morning that they're not calling up any witnesses

posted on 10/7/12

I remember reading a while ago that the only CPS witness was the lip reader.

I was surprised then that this was going to trial, the only ones comign out of this with a smile on their face will be the lawyers as usual.

No, Ferdinand had no say in this going to court and would have no way of stopping it. The only person that could would have been the original complainant.

‪#Terry‬ told FA he knew Ferdinand "so-so", would "say hello" if bumped into him in a club, but didn't have his phone number.

‪#Terry‬ was asked by FA why he repeated back the insult he thought Ferdinand had said, especially in front of TV cameras

FA asked if ‪#Terry‬ was "particularly wound up" in game".He says "no". Way you deal with stuff "separates elite from good players".

FA asked ‪#Terry‬ "How sure are you that's what he [Ferdinand] said". Terry: "I'm really sure". Got nothing to hide, he adds

"I felt really shocking about it and wanted to clear it up and speak to him [Ferdinand] before we left the stadium", ‪#Terry‬ tells FA

‪#Terry‬ tells FA he asked Ferdinand to come to dressing room to speak to him "because I'm not having him thinking that about me"

‪#Terry‬ tells FA there was "altercation' in tunnel after game. "Handbags?" says Jenny Kennedy of FA

On the "sha gging" gesture made by Ferdinand, ‪#Terry‬ says he's used to it and "takes it with a pinch of salt"

They are reporting that a number of police officers would be called in as witnesses.

Totallly agree on the lawyers front, as for the CPS, it is them that decide whther or not thie case should go to court, the police and the prosecution decide on the witnesses. I can only think that the CPS felt it in the best interest of the public in general that this went to court for fear that if they threw it out there would have been a cry of a cover up.

I expect that anyway, IF Terry is found not guilty.

Ah right. They've called a police officer into witness box

Detective Sergeant Dave Gibson called to the witness box

Does having a faceless member of the public not open a huge can of worms.

What about the next time a player lashes out at someone, If i phone the police and report an assault will they not have to follow it up and take that player to court?

We could see a lot of players in the dock.

What about swearing at the camera ala Rooney, foul and abusive language.

where will it end
